Remarks

Like to be positive always. Bidhannagar College is a very good platform for students for their good future and for good career also. Nature friendly campus and with all types of facilities like Gym, Canteen, Common rooms, Sports facilities Bidhannagar College is Great.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the curriculum of this course is seemly selected and for all quality's students. This college is under West Bengal State University. So, the structure of syllabus is preferred to be good. Exam is scheduled as follows order to UGC in last time in the season.

Placement Experience

Placement facilities are little bit poor in Bidhannagar College because of requirements. In my subject placement is exceptional. And I always prefer to complete study at first. Then someone should try for Job.

College Events

College has many events and celebrations like Teacher's Day, Establish Day, Annual Fests, Farewells, Annual Sports, Fresher's Celebration and many more. And Union Related events also celebrated by Student Union.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is pretty feasible. Low budget courses are also available in this college. Under Graduate courses are affordable for all types of students. Specially General subjects are low cost as usual.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually I did not applied for such information to my college. Bidhannagar College is known as one of the best colleges in Kolkata Area. So nothing is insufficient here. Management's decision is highly preferred here.

Campus Life

Bidhannagar College has labs approximately in all subjects. Like computer lab, chemistry lab, physics lab, dark room, statistic lab and many more. Library is also great facility in this college. Allover satisfying.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. They're very helpful to juniors. They're polite to all as well. Everybody is comfortable with them. They're well behaved and studious. They're known to all as well. I'm satisfied with them. No objection.

Admission

I got result of H.S and after that I applied for Bidhannagar College for a subject called 'Education'. I was selected through merit list & I got admission easily. And it was an offline process of admission in this college.

Faculty

Faculties of Bidhannagar College are pretty good and responsible. All posts are maintained by authorities and management team properly. Faculties are well behaved and well educated. I was comfortable with these faculty.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

All about my College

College is really close to railway station (2.2 km from Bidhannagar Junction), Low cost of fees, Good academics, Spacious, Green, Quiet environment ideal for studying. Only bad thing(according to my opinion) is the teachers are really strict. We can't bunk classes. We enter the college 10. 15 AM and leave at 4. 15PM. Sometimes this can be frustrating....Read More
