Remarks

Positive remarks are- 1- There is no casteism 2- There is no ragging 3- There is group fights among students 4- co-operative seniors Negative remark is- 1- There are no girls in college so there is little bit lack of communication with girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is semester based. There are 2 semesters of 6 month in a year. In each semester , there are 2 mid term exams and one final end semester exam. Practicals are completed before end semester exam.

Placement Experience

The 50% of students got placement in my batch. Wipro and TCS had come for placement. Students also got off campus placements. There are 3 to 4 companies who came for on campus placement. My college does not provides internship.

There are few events which are celebrated- 1- Fresher's party 2- Hostel night 3- cricket tournament 4- football league 5- Inter university hockey league 6- volleyball tournament 7- Annual tech fest 8- farewell party

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. For b.tech I paid Rs. 56500 per year. I think this is so feasible cost which anyone can pay easily. If u have backlog in semester exam then u will have to pay Rs.500 extra for this exam to reconduct.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is not any scholarship program in my college. If u are getting any external scholarship then only u can claim. Loan facility is provided by the banks for which my college provides the required docs.

Yes, I opted for hostel and it's infrastructure is so good. There are 3 water cooler for cold drinking water on each floor. The meal in mess is so tasty. There is capacity of almost 100 students in mess.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni network is too wide. There is a special link on our website for alumnis. Our alumnis are spread world wide. We invite our in our college's cultural fest. Our come and motivate us for our bright future.

Admission

Through JEE MAINS exam conducted by CBSE. Based on the merit list of students taking this exam , they fill college of their choice and they will be allotted colleges according to their merit.I got 272000 rank in jee mains and I got admission under reservation.

According to me , faculty of this college is too friendly and they take each lecture. One most impotant thing about this college is that there is no name of ragging just because of strict faculty.Our HOD is so good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course (BAMS) is very good and interesting. In initial days it is little bit difficult to understand the concepts but teachers explains very well that you will get the concepts as Ayurveda is a different & ancient science . You will get very much of written work No clinical postings and OPD postings. I think it should be implemented

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I chose this course due to my own interest. This course is relevant enough to prepare the person to solve real-life applications and adapt thinkingness and knowledge. It would be helpful if they use visual content to teach it will be helpful. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect according to the level of the paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

GREAT COLLEGE

Admission:

The entrance exam is held on June 1 every year. IIMs .silly running. The test is for admission to all IIMs including IISK Shikesh, Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. After selection, you just have to visit college for filling the form.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
