Remarks

I can't say that the college provides their best to make us comfort like they never gave us wifi. And some other fields some stuffs were jerks. Not that bad. So theres some negativity. But it was our college, so what can I say about its bad things. so the college was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well. I took pass for my course and and studied with my capabilities. And the exam system is also good. 3years. 6 semesters. 6 big exams and also 12 seasonal exams. We also did practicals as our exams.

Placement Experience

Well jobs and placements are on us. Bit our teachers worked hard to prepare us enough to do jobs and other works. Internship, yes. Well maybe. And the college gave us stipends also cause it's a government college.

College Events

Freshers party:- It was good always good but as me is me I barely attend those. Saraswati Puja:- Well every year the students organise Saraswati Puja and pray to her. Indoor games: Last year we organised a indoor game competition. Amd other Events were also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

So this is an government college The University orders it amd they do their jobs. But sometimes it was getting harder to pay. Admission fee was 70-300/- and Exam fees were between 550-700. It really sucks sometimes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nah. Only stipends. But good studens who were better im studies got some kinda scholarship named Ishan Uday scholarship etc. etc. And I don't think that the college provides any kinda loan. And now

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities like give slogan behind some political leaders are available here. Labs are always good. As a science student we took our responsibility to take care of the lab. Sometimes we played cricket. And about other things I honestly don't know.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were always helpful. They teach us how to react, where to go, how to do. But some alumni were you know the leaders of college council and did whatever they had in their mind. Was such jerks

Admission

After passing from 12th I walked in college, took a form and filled up with my details and my important certificates. Then by merit list they selected me and also other students for their institute. Yeah, that's it.

Faculty

It is average. Not a big town so not so big faculty. Bit it's not also so bad. And our teachers gave us hope, importance of living, helped us and also gave us marks which was so important. Bit some time less marks, you know.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to bethune college, vidyasagar college, jaipuriya college, rammohan college, city college, lady brabourne college, for the chemistry hons in ug.
