My college was very good

My college was moderately good. The study quality and performence of the faculty was not up to the level. But not only thing that make a proper professionals. Various extracurricular activities going through the course curriculum that songs the behavior, communication skills of the students

Course. Curriculum was fascinating.That improves our academic knowledge as well as skill that is required in industrial/professional field. Exam structure was semister type. Total 8 semester was during entire course.

Placement was moderate. As only 55%of students get placement during our time. But in the recent years this opertunity increases as there is increasing demand of engineers in industry.At our time some giant company recruited candidates from oud college. Some MNC like TCS, CTS, Mahendra, Shyam steel, TEGA campus received our students.

Most of events were celebrated at our colleges. Happy new year event, yearly Functions, 15th Aug celebrations, the birthday of GANDHIJI, POILA BOISHAK, RABINDRA JAYANTI , X-MASS CELEBRATION, The birth day of college ets

During admission including 1year of tution fees it was Rs.75000, after that for each year it was about Rs.50000. And also examination fees was about Rs.1000 per year. Some miscellaneous fees are also ghera. In four years it was about Rs.5000

For the meritorious students who secured marks above 75%in the First year and above a numerous scholarship is available by College authority. Also there was provision for study fees consession for scheduled cast, schedule tribe and backward clsses

Various type of extracurricular activity was performed during the entire course period.annual sports event in which several sports were performed by students. Regular class to improve spoken english and two foreign languages was taken.Also there was workshops to improve communication skills.

No I have not opted for hostel.As my home was just 10km distant from my college. And I used to go to college through Bus of Metro.It is very good experience for me.and our college was from Monday to Friday only.Rest day was sunday and Saturday.

After joining my job through campassing Iwas connected through the alumni community.Where from I can discuss my professional problems. And notable solutions were provided from the seniors that help to resolve the problems.

Minimum qualification was 50%marks in H.S with science subjects ie.physics, chemistry and mathematics and the according to rank holding on WBJEE. More or less within 5000 rank of WBJEE all the stremes of college was full.

Faculty is moderate. But they bear very good behavior to explaining study materials.And a good emphasis was taken to improve practical knowledge of things though several experimental curriculum and workshops.Regular question answers session in the class improve us to gather pros and cons of every subject. Special session for understanding of subjects is also done. There was mentor teacher in each class who guides us. Numerous activity was there to easy the bookish thing so that the students can learn easily. The faculties also touch with the parents of the students.
