Remarks
The management sometimes shows unnecessary strictness which is not taken positively by students. The college should focus on providing quality jobs instead of providing some useless jobs. Some senior faculties are very biased which creates chaos among students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is not good. Lot's of changes are required. New industry specific courses are not available in MBA program but in PGDM program, you will get those opportunities. Exam structure is good but the quality of question is not so good. The checking quality of paper is very poor. For getting pass mark, you don't need to study at all. Some stupid questions are asked which reflects the poor quality of examiner and University as well.
Placement Experience
Lots of companies came to our college for internship. I also got selected in a paid internship in Gurgaon. The placement record is always good for this college. But the average salary provided by the companies are below industry standard. The college should look into this. Instead of providing 3-4 job to a student, they should provide 1-2 very good job.
College Events
In every Thursday, management activities are happend in our college. Through out the year lots of cultural, managerial activities take place. Manfest, Diwali, Holi, Budget session, Winter fest etc are celebrated in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is quite feasible. The students are attracted by fees structure, quality education and placement record. Even ROI from this college is also good. At our time fees was 3.64lakh. Now it is higher than that.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility is always provided by colleges. I like to bare my own expense so I also opted for loans. College provided necessary documents for it. College has tie up with some nationalised bank as well. Scholarship is available for girls students and residents of Uttarakhand students.
Campus Life
As the university syllabus is not good, so college provide to learn some extra courses like digital marketing, French language, SPSS, TABLEU, MS Excel, SAP etc from there with minimal charges. In every year inter college sports tournament takes place. College provides trainer before participating in any sports and extra curricular activities like basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, badminton, dance competition etc.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't opt hostel facility but the hostel facility was good enough. If you are a vegetarian and out from home for first time, then you must opt for hostel. Non vegetarian should avoid this because non veg foods are not available there. There are lots of restrictions regarding outing and timing. Even lift is available in college hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has very strong alumni network. In every year they arrange alumni meet. They get most of the internship and job offer from alumni network. They seniors are very helpful. Even you can approach them for help in getting job as well.
Admission
After cleaning C-MAT, I applied for this college. I got call from this college for GD-PI round. I directly went to college for this round as I was residing near about the college. Interview went very well and I got selected there.
Faculty
Faculties are well educated and knowledgeable as well. They always try to give their best to teach students. Some faculties are not up to the mark. More than 85% faculties are good as per my opinion. They always try to innovative idea to make the lesson attractive. But the poor University syllabus doesn't allow them always to invest more time on improving quality of lesson.
