Likes

I really like my college. It’s NIRF 3 and the crowd is really good . Staff is quite supportive.
Canteen is providing very nutritional food. Pg students fulfill their diets from canteens.
Hostels is very safe and the location is convenient. Class have air conditioners.

Dislikes

WiFi is very slow the speed is not efficient
Washroom is unhygienic and not maintained properly

Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum is really very easy and knowledgeable. It teaches us in both theoretical and practical ways which help us to gain the deep knowledge of the topics making us efficient to do our jobs. The curriculum is easily accepted.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college provides placements. Really good packages are provided. Average package is 9!lakhs which is a very decent amount as a graduate. In past years companies like Mac&co, EY, Ben&co, Deloitte ,etc have visted our college and hired students.

Fees and Financial Aid

My per year fees is 30000. Total fees for course is 90000. Different courses have different fee structure and I think my fees is quite affordable and it's not that expensive and it doesn't hamper our savings .

Campus Life

Campus life is really very fun and enjoyable. We play games like badminton, hockey etc. There are so many cafés around to hop on. We can go to nearest markets and places with friends. It's similar to movies campus life.

Admission

I couldn't make to other college I.e. SRCC because CUET score was not upto the cut off and I got Hansraj which a really nice and one of the best commerce colleges. My college crowd is very diverse and friendly other like free from toxicity.

Faculty

The staff and faculty members are really very supportive and the relationship is semi formal they solve our problems very quickly and we communicate with them regarding everything. I like Barkha mam very much she is very friendly.

Night Life

Our college timmings are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hostels are open till 10:00 at night. There are so many famous hangout places, cafés, etc to visit and chill. Some opens whole night too. Students in pg enjoys night outs.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
