Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate around 7 out of 10 because everything is fine but in case of practical subjects rhe teacher lacks in teaching. They are lazy in teaching practical subjects as our Financial management teacher , she did not taught us the tally very well despite of it we gave the practical exam of it. Half of the students in my class didi not know about tally. Currently I don't think so that the course is revelant to our real world exposure. The areas I would suggest is to teach the practical subjects in a effiecent manners it is a very crucial part for our course curiculam also enhance their teaching methods in case of practical subjects. The frequency of exam is not stressful not the timings of exam in my perspective and moreover the difficulty level of exams was easy.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship oppputnirnites is quite good. As the two students got internships from de shaw and Accenture, both companies are very reputed. Both students got this internship for 60000 and 90000. Moreover there is a group which sends the paid internship opportunity if you have skill you can apply it easily. Actually internship is based on your skills on the personally connection or referrals then you can expect from the college otherwise you cant make it.

Placement Experience

5

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of college has divided in three years. The first year fees is around 30000 for the college per annum and it goes till 3rd. Each year we have to pay 30000 for Bcom H programme. The fees of this college has increasing year by year. There is no any registration fees and no other charges the fees criteria is not divided on the basis of Caste. The college provides a scholarship program in which there will be a interview for each student who have applied for it and after shortlisting he will get the amount of scholarship although the scholarship amount is too small which is not helpful. The other scholarship which is provided inside the college but it is by Dell aspire scholar program.

Campus Life

5

The overall experince can be described in one word which is zenith. It is very good, campus life is very awesome and cool. The main thing hansraj college has many societies around 40+ societies in different domain like dance , singing , poetry , consultancy , departmental any many more which makes it very good. The name of the annual event is confluence of Hansraj college. And the monthly events held by many other societies. Recently the college did fest for the freshers of 2025. Everyone was enjoyed there. Library is way big than expectation it has a variety of books from dcommerce , economics , and socince department. One of the student who became social entreprenuar is running dell aspire scholar program, he brought this program in our college for the student who wanna do something in their lives.

Admission

Yes I could not make it to my dream college which was shree raam college of commerce , the hansraj college was my third preference and I got it , the shree raam wa my first orefercne and the Hindu was my second preference. The college has been alloted to every student on the basis of their marks. After paying the fees of alloted college you have to just do a pshycial verification of documents in the college premises then the procedure of admission was ended. The process of admission does not takes too much time. And if I m not selected in my dream college and other preferences then yes we can say that it is the rejection from those colleges due to the low score of CUET marks. There is no any specific eleibiglity you have to just map your subjects with the desirable course and then you will get the college as per your CUET score, the cutoffs for hansraj college for Bcom H programme is different for each category , for hnanrja college if a person from general is getting around 902 then he will get hansraj college and if he is getting around 810 from OBC - Non creamy category then he will get this college and so on according to Category.

Faculty

The overall faculty members is good in our first semester. Like our Management application and principle teachers was very good and our Bharat bhusan sir who taught business laws in a very interesting way. The insightful thing about faculty members is there are some teachers who taught very badly and sinking the name of others teachers. And I m talking about our MPA Tut teacher Dr RCG garg he expects us to come on time in class but they did not come on time. We just wait for him many times and he never taught us in a very good way they just showed up their phisloshpy in first semester. The exam system was quite pretty of our first semester. The exam finished just few days ago. But I didnot like the date settings of the exam systems but the marking system are good. And the result are not declared that's why I can't say anything about the failures of students. Also I can not tell about that course is relevant or not to our real world.

Night Life

5

College has GYm , Yoga room and other department rooms. It has four cafe like Nescafe, mitti cafe and the college canteen and co cola cafe. The food there is too yummy and tasty. There is a public area in our college that is LP which is lover point some other students called it as learner point. The opening time of college is 8 AM and the closing time of college is 8 PM, the hostel for boys is under construction and there is also girls hostles. College has made yagyshala for yagya which is very necessary and in my views it should be in every college. The college has Girls common room where only girls can go and rest up their minds. The famous hangouts places inside the college is MITTI cafe , Nescafe and the LP area. Outside the college , there is kamla market where students go for shopping and hanging out with their frends. At some distance there is sudama tea stall which is very famous in whole north campus even Delhi university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
