Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good. Faculties are approachable and friendly.all faculties are knowledgeable. Exams levels are moderate , not too easy and not to difficult. Course curriculum is not very good, syllabus is wast and not have enough time to cover it.
Night Life
Nightlife around TIST is calm and quiet rather than party-oriented. Campus facilities like the library, cafeteria, gym, classrooms, and labs close by evening. Hostel life is the main source of social interaction, with students bonding through late-night talks, group study, and casual activities within hostel rules. Hangout spots include the college canteen during open hours and small tea shops, bakeries, and cafés in nearby Kothamangalam town. The locality is generally safe in the evenings, but students usually avoid roaming late at night.
