Gaya college of engineering

Only neagtive thing this that it it 20 km outskirts of Gaya city., But this is not a problem as free bus services is given to non hostellers from college to different part of gaya city. College is developing at a exponential pace and it will surely make its name somewhere in national ranking soon.

There are basically 4 courses, 1)civil engineering 2) mechanical engineering 3) electrical and electronics engineering 4) computer science and engineering All the four courses are taught by IIT PhD holder faculities, lab are world class and college has now came under tequip phase 3 so quality has highly increased due to guidances of reputed institutions and filling of all technical and mom technical positions. I am from civil engineering , lecturers are very friendly and highly qualified , the will make you feel the abstract of subject and finally placement are about 5lpa but it can be justified as overall cost is 30000 or less for general category of you include financial support it further comes down. Exams are conducted based on semester system 70 marks for end sem and 30 from internal examination. And 100 marks practical exams are conducted in college.

Opportunities are great , college arranges placement either in campus or there is a pool campus arranged by university in Patna where you can get placed in reputed companies with decent pakage. Internships are provided every year at end of even semester , we have understanding with IRI ROORKEE, VJTI MUMBAI AND state department where student can get industrial training.

1) fresher's night It is for the new members coming to Gce family , they are given a boosting start with fresher's party 2)annulal function It is celebrated to celebrate the birthday of our college. This celebration goes for 10 days which includes lots of sports fiction and extra curriculum. 3)Saraswati Pooja 4) Gravition It it one of the best technical function in state and college becomes a place of accumulation of students from various technical institutions of Bihar to showcase their talents, it includes challenges like truss bridge, water rocket, robotics etc. 5) Aluminius night

It is very much cost effective if you are general category around 30000+ living expenses will be spent but cmrf and other schemes like student credit card can help you toh reduced this to 0 , it's almost free for SC / St student except living expenses as all tuition fee is refunded to SC/OBC students.

Loans like Bihar student credit card, and PMS for SC,st,OBC student. Almost all the money is recovered for unreserved category and financial assistance for general category is done through Bihar student credit card scheme

They are great as I have mention there is ample of extracurricular done throughout year and the lab experience is also great due to friendly nature of staff, you can learn many activities as we have lots of groups which learn together.

Hostel costs 4800/year and mess is around 2500 per month , hostel rooms are well conditioned and high quality wood furniture is provided. Food quality of mess is good as student are responsible for mess maintenance.

Alumni network is quite weak but from last year college has made efforts to connect to it's alumni and this has resulted in alumni night last year, our alumni are spread across Germany ,Japan and many reputed organization like barc ,isro , and psus and they are really helpful.

My admission was done on basis of BCECE rank but not selection is based on her mains rank. If your rank is around 50k you can get this college as per recent trends. Application is invited by BCECE board after jee mains exam to show interest for counseling ,you can register and then wait for the counseling process ho happen. Only problem is that domicile of Bihar is compulsory for application.

It is a great place to learn, we have our aluminius in Germany , Japan and in organization like hocl ,iocl ,bpcl ,npcil,barc,isro,cpwd,bihar administrative service, and many more. If you do hard work you can definitely get into a quality position on your life and our aluminius has been proving this. Also we gave around 50 students qualifying gate exam from every batch.
