Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of my college is little outdated because it follows the same syllabus as it was setted in 2018. I will rate my curriculum 5 out of 10. They have to improve the syllabus of our course curriculum. The frequency of exam in a year is 2 external end semester exams and 2 internal mid semester exams.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our is is not very active because they are unable to reach companies to come to our college for placement. In past some companies comes in my college like HCL, Wipro, planet spark etc and most of the placement are happened in off campus in companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM etc. The highest package of my college is 18 LPA and average is 3 LPA, most of the students get packages like 3-5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of my college is very less it is 10030 per year. The tuition fee is 120 per year, 10 admission fee and 2500 is for development fee per year. The fee for each semester exam is 3700. There is same fee structure for all categories.
Campus Life
Our college campus life is good, beacuse all facilities like hostel canteen and other things are present in college campus. There are some cultural fests, annual fests and sports functions are organised in past and it will be organising in future also. Our college has hige big library with almost 25k books of all subjects and fields. Our college is enabled with wifi in some areas. There is no clubs available in my college but we are going to establish it in next year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good in college as every student can get hostel easily. There are total five hostels in my college 3 for boys and 2 for girls. The quality of mess food is okay okay they provide 3 meals in a Day and 1 snack in evening, as all know very well about the food quality of hostel mess. The fee of hostel is very less as it is 60000 per year.
Admission
I have also applied for some other colleges but I didn't get it because I am not shortlisted in my dream desired college. I choose this college because it have less fee compare to others and the ROI of my college is great. To get admission in Gaya College of engineering we have to appear in JEE Main exam and they apply for BCECE UGEAC counseling for get admission in Bihar Engineering colleges. It requires 90 percentile in JEE Main to get CSE branch in this college.
Faculty
In our college all faculties are highly educated as all are phd holders but some of them are just M.Tech pass out. They have good amount of knowledge but some teachers don't know how to teach they are unable to understand students. Ther are 2 exams held in each semester one is internal mid semester and the another one is external end semester exam.
Night Life
Our college is very far from main town it is 16km away. That's why there is not so much things are available outside campus. There are some restaurants like Maitri Chaaya, Lunch Box, Red Chilli. And also a Gym available outside my college campus. The timings of college in or out is from 5am to 8pm.
