Overlook of my university

College provides us with every necessity we need in daily life starting from academics to transport.We have very healthy senior junior relationship which allows to settle to a new place more quickly.There are some factors like some faculties are so new that they don't understand how to teach.

Course curriculum is pretty varied and covers every aspect of my department starting from hardware to software part both.We have 2 semesters per academic calendar year and we need to pass the practical exams to be upgraded to next year.We have lots of assignment, presentation to be done and checked for per semester evaluation of what we learned.And so do we also have 2 class test per semester from which 30% is added to semester marks and other 70% is from semester marks.

Placement record is one of the best in West Bengal of jadavpur university. Regarding all departments the average package lies from 5l.p.a to 14 l.p.a.College has lot of internship opportunities as we have e cell and placement board to enjoy every benefit regarding to placement and internship criteria. Overall experience is just too good as you have everything available at your fingertips starting from education to music.

We have year round fest's based on different themes like science to culture.We have the longest going fest SANSKRITI, technical fest SRIJAN, Thanksgiving fest ROMANTHAN,fresher fest CIPPUS, university sports fest U-TURN. So we have a year around culture of getting students involved in daily life outside books.

Fee structure of jadavpur university is most feasible in whole India.Every non-IT department has a course fee of 2400 and IT has 30000 as per year fees.And I guess this is very low regarding to any other college.

Our college offers scholarship regarding to merit and also to economic conditions.There are variety of ongoing scholarship schemes which are being supported by our university so that no student is going under economic burden.Staffs are helpful as they keep us updated about any scholarship scheme ongoing.

We have our own football field,basketball field,carrom board, badminton court, volleyball court,table tennis board,chess which gives lot of option to students to have a healthy playing time with each other.We regularly organise sports events between departments,alumni and students.Labs are always updated which latest technology so we face no problem regarding it.

Yes we always have senior junior meet as they are always being invited to any ongoing event or fest.They provide us with the path we try to go on and guide us their prior knowledge about it.they tell us about variety of educational skills we need to get better at academics and placement.

I firstly got to know about WBJEE from my teachers which was the gateway for jadavpur university.So I prepared for my WBJEE and scored a proper rank and as the counselling started I was given an option for jadavpur university information technology department.After that I needed to get my documents verified at reporting centre and then sent to my respective college for admission procedure.

Most of our faculty have depth knowledge of their respective subject but there are some new recruited teacher who don't know what to teach and what not to,they think every topic is important.But the best teachers are superior in class and tries best to teach using presentation,live demonstration and clearing doubt of every student.
