PLACEMENT REVIEW

Overall it's good college and within budget if an middle class family. Though the placement scenario is not good but still the quality of education is extra good comparatively to other colleges. And infrastructure is well as per fees.

Course is the best from my opinion because the syllabus is completely matched with GATE syllabus. And also aa this college is approved by MAKAUT so the exam are based on semester wise. For B. Tech there are 8 semester in the entire course curriculum.

Placement and jobs opportunity are not satisfactory. As a TPO coordinator I can say better than any other guy. There are a lots of gaps are there among the TPO official. Even they don't want to try to bring some good company. And this is the situation of placement so you can just imagine about internship. If someone wants to take that he or she has to take that personally. College authority will not help to get that.

Tech Fest this is the techno-management festival celebrated each year. There a lots of technical events are there to take part. Other than this there are departmental meet organized by separate department to celebrate it.

Fees structure is feasible I think in comparison to other college. But still the facility that they provide is not as per the fees. Even in the hostels also the quality of food is not that much good as they takes the money.

Yes, this is the good thing that our college provide. There are a lots of good scholarship like TFW, WBFS where you rarely have to pay 40-50k during the entire b.tech course but there are also some condition and eligibility to avail that. And loan facility is also provided by our college.

Extra curricular activities are extremely goods. Even for first year student there are a lots of extra curricular activities are organized. And the labs are also equipped with modern instrument. There are annual sports are also performed every year.

Hostel infrastructure is extremely well. In a room there will be 4 beds and for each individual there will be separate wardrobe, table, chair. Bathroom and washroom are cleaned. There is a seperate common room where there is TV and others playing instrument are there. Food quality is not that much good.

Alumni network are there but they not at all helpful. Senior student when they are in the college then only they will help but after that once they pass out then you don't expect any help from help. Even they got busy into their own life.

Through WBJEE, after securing a rank of 18872 I got this college through E-counselling and then got admitted here. There were total of 3 rounds of counselling where I got this college in the third round.

Faculty are extremely talented specially I can talk about Mechanical faculty. They are all highly educated and have a good technical knowledge as well as practical knowledge also. And the most important thing is the friendly behavior of them really helps us to understand well.
