Remarks
The overall college is good but the students needs to be very smart and diciplined to get success in his life. One should only focus on its aim in the college either GATE Or CAT. The library facilities are quite good, a student should take advantage of that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The current curriculum is not up to the mark. The syllabus is old and hence the students is not able to fulfill the industry requirements. The exam is taken into 2 semester in A year for every batch.
Placement Experience
The placements is also average, most of the IT companies come here for the recuirements. Only 2-3 core companies come here for recuirements. Only 1-2 paid interships are provided by the college, The stipend is about Rs 15000.
College Events
The college is hub of events, in fact college is more event oriented than the academic oriented. Almost all the events are celebrated in the college including College Fest, Cultural fest, Sports meet etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is very much cheap when we compare it to other private colleges. The average Semester fee is around 41000 only. The cost of Hostel is also very cheap, that's 12000 per semester. The mess is also very cheap
Fees and Financial Aid
The college will approve any kind of loan that you take from bank, whether it's a state government loan Or Central Government. The college itself provides 100% Scholarship in tution fee for each Branch Topper.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are very good as I mentioned earlier also. The labs are well equiped but they are only good for Academics not for research purpose. The sports are also. The fields are very large for carrying all kinds of sports activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel - 8/10 Hostel Infrastructure - 7/10 The hostels are very old and hence lacks facilities like indoor games. The mess is also inside the hostel. The hostels needs renovation for including the New facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni very rare come to the college and hence students lacks Industry information due to absence of their guidance. Some Seniors are good but most of seniors will led to the astray. So, You should be very smart while taking suggestions from seniors.
Admission
I gave WBJEE. The result comes then the window opens for filling the choices of your desired college and desired rank then they will allot you the branch and college according to your rank. Soon they will tell you to report in a particular place for document verification.
Faculty
Some teachers are good but most of the teachers are average.In fact 90% are average. The research oriented teachers in our college is very few. Most of the teachers only teaches the old MAKAUT syllabus and nothing more.
