Remarks

Positive point is if you want to stuy you can study but if you want get placed thers is limited option. So don't get fooled by false campusing. Practice aptitude, reasoning hard you can easily crack off campus drive.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good, they follow WBUT University currently known as MAKAUT. course is limited but good for Graduation. To crack GATE you have work hard. In exam structure there is semester method. With two internal and practical exam

Placement Experience

Placement in this college is very bad. There is no placement at all. All those are fake placement of pull campusing. No on campusing is there. Popular companies don't want to visit this college. Be careful while admitting. Placement is very less

College Events

Annual Social, Tech Events, Farewell event etc. Annual Social : they charge you around 750-1000 per student. Annual Social is good but for one day only. Tech event : in tech event there is lots of competition but they charge own college students also for registration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure moderate there. Admission fee around 64000 including 1st semester. From 2nd semester it's around 40000 per semester. So you have to pay 40000*70= 280000 + 64000 = 344000 Rs for 4 year b.tech

Fees and Financial Aid

There is only TFW is there given by WBJEE board. There is no scholarship is there in college. Loan facility is thers , student loan. After getting a good job you can pay the loan. Loan interest is around 11-12 %

Campus Life

Labs are good for learning. Physics lab, Antenna theory lab, VLIC lab, computer lab, design lab etc. Sports condition is very bad. There is a small play ground. Equipment is also less. Only cricket match is there. No other sports is there.

Hostel Facilities

Rate of hostel is very high. And the hostel is not good. This hostel are not furnished at all. Dust is there. And food quality is too bad to describe. Boys don't take hostel facility, you will get mess easily outside of the college

Alumni/Alumna

Some seniors are helpful some seniors having ego problems. Alumini connection is very less. Nowadays no one want to help others. You have to struggle and find your own path. Study hard crack the exams.

Admission

Through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination i got admitted in this college, then i have to do online counseling, seat booking then final admission is there. After that i started my journey. From August onwards we started our class

Faculty

Some faculty is too good, friendly behaviour. But some faculty is too rude and rough. They having ego problems. They only like the students who work for them only. If you did any cross question then you are gone, even they can give you 0 in practical also

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
