Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think the course curriculum is decent. It covers the main subjects properly and gives basic understanding. It helped me understand my core subjects better. But honestly, it is more theory based and less practical which I don't like much.If they add more practical work or industry exposure, it would be better. Exams happen semester wise with internals, and the level is not very hard if you study regularly.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities in my college are decent. The placement cell and different commerce societies frequently share internship opportunities in fields like marketing, finance, HR and sales. Some startups and even mnc's offer internships sometimes with stipend and sometimes unpaid for experience. The stipend usually depends on the company and the type of role they are offering. These internships help in gaining practical knowledge and improving communication skills.Overall, internship exposure is good if students actively apply and participate.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills. Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first, earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee of my course which I paid this year was 19560. In the first year, I paid 15000 something was my admission fees excluding exam fees. In the second year there was a increase in fees which was not common earlier.Students from SC/ST category from my point of view paid same fee. Scholarships based on Merit and reservation based is available. Overall, the course is affordable compared to other private colleges.

Campus Life

4

My overall campus life has been good and average. The college organizes small cultural events usually once or twice a year which gives students a chance to participate and show their talent. There are different societies like cultural, commerce, and sports clubs where students can take part according to their interests,I am also in few of them. The library has enough books for our course and a quiet space to study. Classrooms are decent with basic facilities like projectors in some rooms. Sports and extracurricular activities are also encouraged.Overall, campus life is balanced and gives us social exposure.

Admission

I chose this college because it comes under Delhi University and has a decent reputation for my course. My first preference was this College itself.Compared to other colleges this one felt better in terms of faculty support and location. The admission process was a bit lengthy but the end result was worth it. Eligibility was based on Cuet marks. After document verification and fee payment my admission was confirmed.Overall, the process was simple and transparent.

Faculty

4

The faculty members of my college are qualified and supportive. Most teachers are approachable for doubts. The faculty number is decent. The faculty which I liked very much was my financial management teacher Sonam,I liked her because her behaviour towards students were very polite and kind. The faculty I didn't liked was my company law teacher Shivani as she was very rude, egoistic and unhelpful, she even less marks to students just because she found them arrogant. The difficulty level is moderate and the marking scheme is fair, however I feel more practical exposure and industry learning should be provided to students.

Night Life

4

The nightlife around my college is decent sometimes happening as I have evening colleges. The library and cafeteria also close by late evening. There is no late-night campus culture inside the college. However, students usually hang out in nearby cafes and markets after classes and the area outside is very cozy and feels warm. Some go to places like nearby metro stations, food stalls, or popular markets in the area to relax with friends. The locality is generally safe but it is better to avoid roaming too late at night. Overall, the nightlife is simple and more focused on small get-togethers with friends rather than party culture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
