Good, Semester wys exams are there. After every semester the exam will be conducted. And there was rapid result publishing process. Course carricua is well planned and very useful to students and both faculties.

Placement Experience

This institution have a very good placement cell. Around 90% students are placed in an year in diffrent companies. The some of the companies are TCS,VIPRO,etc. The college offers many placements and job offers.

This institution conducts several programms such as cultural, sports,technical, The main event of the college is the technical festival which is named as OBSQURA. It is the techfest of college well known in kerala.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, This institution have a feasible fees structure. For merit students -50000. For management seats-70000-75000. For NRI seats-80000-100000. And also college suggests low fees for students who have exalent performence.

Hostel Facilities

Good, This institution have a beatiful and hygienic hostel for both boys and girls seperately, Infrastruture is much good, And the hostels are located in the college campus itself, Hostel have a large mess also.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

KEAM entrance exam, I got admission in this institution through the kerala engineering and medical entrance examination. I qualified this entrance exam with 35000 rank. And l applied here for civil engineering. Then l was selected.

Faculty

This institution have the best faculties. The faculties are much educated and knowledge achieved, Inthis institution there are eight departments and each depertments have HOD s with PHd degrees. And the institution have an extra ordinary principal too.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

But I had to change my plan as I had heard about the boom of Cybersecurity and my interest towards technology.
