Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is moderately relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering most of the fundamental ideas required for academic growth . one of the major reasons for choosing this course is that it includes essential subjects related to the particular field, which provide a strong foundation of theory. the course is designed in such a way that students can grasp ideas, ranging from basic to high levels, step by step.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also available in the 2nd or 3rd year ,depending upon the course and the skill set of the students. The companies and job roles include local I.T. companies, startups, and servies-oriented organizations. the job roles include Web developer, Data entry operator, marketing intern, sales executive, and HR intern. The internships may be unpaid or may include a small stipend ranging from ?3000 to ?8000 per month.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario of the college is decent but not exceptional. Some companies from local and mid-level sectors visit the college. The jobs provided by the companies include sales, support, and entry-level I.T. and management jobs. The number of offers is moderate. the highest package is around ?4-5 LPA , and the average package is between ?2-3 LPA . 50%-60% of the students get placed through the campus drives.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is reasonable, espically compared to private colleges, and is definitely within budget. also, most facilities such as labs, Wi-fi, library, etc., are available, so that is a plus point . there are no high charges , which is good. but scholarships are mostly merit-based, so students should not bank on them completely. So, all in all, it is worth the money , especially if you're looking for a budget- friendly course.
Campus Life
Overall, my campus life experience has been a pleasant one with a good balance of academic and extracurricular activities. the college also conducts annual culture fests and events, where students participate in dance, music, and other events. These events are conducted annually from february to april. technical activities and seminars are also conducted from time to time, but more of these can be conducted for better students exposure.
Admission
I selected my college on the basis of an affordable fee structure, a convenient location, and a decent academic environment compared to other colleges that I consdered. besides this college, I had also applied to a few other private colleges; however, their fee structure was high, which made it difficult for me to afford it. though I recieved confirmation letters from a few colleges, my interest lay in this college as it promised more value for money spent.
Faculty
The faculty members in the college are generally helpful and supportive. They are also knowledgeable and helpful in guiding students. The ratio of teachers to students is average, and this allows teachers to give attention to most students. Some of the best teachers are those who provide clear explanations and examples that make learning easier and more interesting. However, this may vary as some teachers may be more inclined to use theoretical methods and less inclined to use practical methods.
Night Life
The nightlife around college is quite calm and limited as it is not in a metro city, but students still manage to relax and enjoy their time. Inside college, timings are limited to closing libraries and academic areas by 5-6 PM in the evening , whereas cafeterias remain open until late evenings. The hostel has fixed in-timings , usually between 8-9 PM.
