Generally it depends on us, how we can properly utilize the available things provided to us. College provides all the basic amenities and facilities to us which allows one to graduate with good technical skills and experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is distributed evenly step wise in all the semester, in such a manner that load doesn't fall on students in a particular semester. Also in a semester two examination are held 1) Mid Term (30 marks) normally occurs after one and half months after the commencement of the college. 2) End term(50 marks) At the end of the semester. (November and May) Rest 20 marks are based on class performance and class tests.
Placement Experience
Our college provide internship only after the completion of 2nd year. Companies visits our campus and based on some tests and interviews one gets selected for the internship. A person benefits a lot if he/she has a good marks. Most of the companies normally doesn't provide any stipends except some IT and private companies. As the classes are just commenced companies had not yet visited the college. Last year a maximum of 70k stipend was provided for 2 - 3 students by Goldman Sacs.
College Events
As the college is of National Importance almost all the festivals and events are celebrated here. Basically two events are celebrated one techical event "TECNOESIS" (In the month of Sept/oct) and other cultural event "INCANDESCENE" (In the month of Feb). These events goes for 3 to 4 days along with cultural nights and various artists across the country even from abroad comes and perform here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is based upon the family income of the student. It is categorised in 3 parts. 1) Income Above 5 lakhs. (Full fees to be paid) 2) Between 1 to 5 lakhs( 2/3 of tution fees is waived off) 3) Below 1 lakh /Sc/st/pwd students (Full waiver in tution fees)
Fees and Financial Aid
Some scholarships are provided by the college, but the most important one is the fee waiver based on the income. Besides that Loans are also provided in a easy manner during the time of admission from the bank(Located in the college premises).
Campus Life
A large numbers of extra curricular activities happens throughout the year. From sports to cultural programmes along with guest lectures, alumni visits, Republic and Independence Day parade takes place.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are quite good with proper internet facilities and Good furnitures. Some hostels may be old but proper cleaning is done in regular intervals. Electricity is available for 24 hours and power backup are also available. Water is also available 24*7. Water freezers are also available for cold water.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the Seniors and the Alumnis are very helpful. Whether financially or some academic problems they help a lot. Every year Alumni meet happens in which 25 years back alumni visits and interacts with the college students and administration and they also gives suggestions and funds for the welfare to the college.
Admission
A person needs to qualify JEE mains and then an online counseling is done, where choices are filled and colleges are alotted. If a student is alotted with a college, he/she needs to visit the nearest centre(available on official website) for documents verification. Rest of the process are then completed at the time of admission in the respected college.
Faculty
Frankly speaking almost all the faculties are good, except some few (They have the knowledge but lacks modern way of teaching). Overall speaking they can guide you very well. Present director also takes very much interest in the academic activities and gets interacted to students directly.
