Remarks

Positive remark: College is nice, Ragging free camps, Canteen is nice, Faculties are nice, No restrictions, Free for walk, Fees is less. Negative remark: Political issues are more, Syllabus is too hard.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very difficult. Can be achive it by studying. Exam structure is good because they publish result fast. Only problem is the question paper. They put many questions for out of syllabus it make us too difficult.

Placement Experience

In our college the placement more according to other college. Because the students in our college is good. placement is around 70% i think. Any way good placement cell is working in our college. They are also good.

College Events

Onam celebration. Christmas celebration. Independents celebration. Holy celebration. Republic celebration. The celebrations are manly by department wise. Some celebration are under NSS club. Any all celebrations are good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is a government college so the fee structure is feasible. We can afford the fee. There is no extra fee for exam and such things only we need to pay a fixed amount to government during the class starts.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our many scholarship are there such like central government scholarship and state government scholarship such as e-grants and merits cum means etc. scholarship is awarded for most of the students.

Campus Life

Lab in our college is good. All facilities are available in our college. In the case of sports all sports events are there in our college any one can participate in it. There is no restrictions for the participation in our college.

Hostel Facilities

I will give a mark of 3/5 Because admission process is not good. They take the student not only on the basis of distance and Mark. There play political this behind this. Food is not much better but good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Our college is purely ragging free camps. There no difference between senior and junior. Alumni is working as good. They help us in our feature also. The alumni is good. Seniors will help us for any thing.

Admission

General seat in KEAM in 2017 I get a of 1143. So i get merit seat in Government engineering college Thrissur. Admission process is simple. They accept a PTA fund of 15400 rupees and extra 8225 for government fee.

Faculty

4.5

The current faculties are good. Exceptionally the faculties from other department. Maths faculties are good. Physics faculties are good. Mechanical faculties are good. Lab faculties teach the correct topic.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
