Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail
Fees and Financial Aid
I pursed B.A (programe) from Delhi University ,2019-2022 batch. The fee structure is very affordable as DU is a central university. Year wise: I paid arround rupees 10,000 to 14,000 per year. Total course fee for 3 years 30,000 to 42,000. Included tution fee, addmission fee and examination fee. fee hike has been relatively stable with a minor 5-10% increase in the last two years Compared to private universities, DU is extremely affordable and probvides great ROI consedring the brand value and placement.
Campus Life
As a student of DU SOL the concept of traditional campus life does not apply because itis a distance learning program There is no physical campus annual fests technical festivals clubs or sports activities like in regular college
Admission
I chose DU SOL over regular DU colleges because iI was preparing for goverment exams like SSC and needed a flexibility study schedule. the main reasion for chosing SOL was flexibility to study frome home while doing coaching and extremly low fee of arround 4000 per year compared to 15000+in regular college. another major factor is that the degree from SOL hasthe exact same value and crediblity as any regular DU college degree with no mention oif distance on the final marksheet
Faculty
I pursed BA from DU SOL there were no regular classes or direct faculty to students intreaction like regular colleges. Course structure follows the semester in 3 years. exams conduct by twice a year by DU May/June and Nov/Dec. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable withself study
Night Life
Since DU SOL is distance learning programe. T the concept of campus nightlife does not exist. There is no physical campus no hostels, no gym no cafeteria , or library. that says open late at night. As SOL student are spread acrros Delhi NCR and study from home, our night life is basically self study, online coaching or part time jobs
