Good College

If you need to study GITA is a good place for you, but you won't have a good social life. It's total stereotype culture. Teachers are stereotype. For placement purposes I would recommend to take CS/IT branch, other branches placement are not good.

This is a 4 year course. There are 8 semester with 6-7 subjects in each semester. Subjects are tough and questions are unpredictable as it comes under Biju Patnaik University Of Technology. Board checks the copy and allots you marks

Placement are ok. College calls Infosys every year, but they don't take much students as there selection process is very tough, Aptitude English is very tough. Many more startup companies cones for a visit, but as a big company on Infosys.

Anual Fest Takes place every year, consisting of technical and cultural fest. Many seminars and entrepreneur activity are held throughout the year. So yeah many events happening in the college.

Fee is moderate. 1.2 lakh per anum and they have installed Air Conditioner in thr college. So fee is ok. Hostel fees are 60000 plus security fees also. So yeah fees are feasible in this college. Transportation fees also add a amount 15000. Extra. For the Sunday outing services they provide.

There are a lot of loans facilities available. There is a Punjab National Bank in the GITA campus. People can avail for loan there, or you can get loan at your hone bank branch as GITA is certified from NBA and AICTE. Scholarships for students of Jharkhand is e Kalyan , but you are required to be if lower caste.

Labs are good, sports are also there. But you'll not learn here anything.If you used to play before they will judge you and then select you. A lot of politics is there, you won't be able to qualify just so easily

Yes I have opted for Hostel facilities in my 1st year. There are 4 people in 1 room and the mess food is worst adding to the stereotype culture of the college. But you'll adapt , make new friends and you'll enjoy your hostel life fir sure. Additionally there are a lot of restrictions there.

No network at all. There is literally, no network among seniors and juniors also there are no network between any almuni of GITA students. So, No they are not helpful at all. Furthermore no one is going to help you.

You'll need to pass 12th standard for admission in B.Tech 1 st year. Or if you have done Diploma, you can get admission in 2nd year directly. You'll need to have a non negative score in JEE mains, and apply through OJEE counseling. Else you can get admission directly by coming to college. By giving reference the person who took the reference would get ?20000.

Good faculties, but very less professor. Most of them are assistant professor. But some teachers are just wonderful. They will helo you study. And help you throughout your life. So i think if more qualified faculties are added academics could improve more.
