College review of VIT Puns

Overall the college VIT Pune good for engineering due to academic means in VIT Pune the syllabus is set according to the requirements of industry , Faculty and teaching quality in college is excellent but campus is little bit less it is about 4.5 acres The most important thing is placement and internships condition of college is very good , the average package of current year is ?5.7 lakh

In our college the superior knowledge about any course is given in 2nd year and then death knowledge about the same course is given in 3rd year The exam structure of VIT Pune changes every year, in my first year of engineering the exam structure was 35 marks for mid semester exam , 35 marks for end semester exam and remaining 30 marks for internal assessment i.e. for tutorials for Lab In my second year of engineering the exam structure was 10 marks mid semester exam ,30 marks end semester exam ,30 marks for lab or tutorials, 10 marks for assignment it and remaining 20 mark for viva Now in 3rd year of my engineering exam pattern is 15 marks for mid semester exam, 15 marks for end semester exam ,10 marks for assignment, 30 marks for lab or tutorials ,10 marks for seminar and remaining 20 marks for viva

According to the point of view of placement and internship the college VIT Pune is very good because there is a special team of some teacher's from training and placement office(TPO) who is working continuously of internships and placements of students From starting of 3rd year the companies starts taking students for summer internship of 2 month and also for 5 months semister internship and from starting of 4th year placement starts The stipend that companies gives in my college is from ? 4000 to ? 50000 per month and current years average package of my ?5.7 lakh

There are many events text place in VIT Pune but from that there are two major events first is Vishwakarandak which is a inter departmental which takes place before Diwali festival and another one is melange which is a Inter College event takes place after Christmas and the annual gathering is vishwostav The other events that takes place in VIT Pune are TED- X , internship Mela, freshers party etc

The fee structure of VIT Pune is expensive ,the average increase in fees is nearly ?20000 per year. In 2017 the fees was nearly ?140000 and by now in 2019 the fees is nearly ?180000 for open category students ,For OBC students and for EBC students the tuition fees is 50% means in 2017 the fees was nearly ?77000 and by now in 2019 is nearly ?102000, For SC and ST category students the fees is around ?4000 and for top 5% students of every branch means for those students from TFWS quota the fees is between ?15000 - ?20000

The scholarships like EBC that government provides are available in VIT Pune I am not availed any scholarship from college but my friends availed many different scholarships from college ,also college provides very good loan facilities for those students which are economically poor Also for post graduation college invites 4 - 5 different agencies that provides a loan facility for post graduation like Master in science (MS)

There are many good and socially helpful extracurricular activities that takes place in VIT Pune like NSS Camp , Go green event that spreads awareness about the plants and their importance in our life and also in annual events like Vishwakarandak, melange , vishwostav many extracurricular activities takes place In our college compulsory one lab is allocated to every course, the facilities like components , gadgets required for experiment are there in required quantity , also compulsory there is a one lab session for every course in a week Our college have one team for every sports game , also college provides all the material that is required for that perticular sports and also provides required coaching facility

I do not have opted for hostel because the facilities in the hostel are not that great and also the fees is more There are 4 hostels for our college (2 for boys and 2 for girls) which are at a distance of nearly 2.5 km from our college and also the bus facility is not available, the average fees of hostel is 55000 and mess fees is 50000

Every year my college VIT Pune alumni meet , in that meet alumni guide the current students like me and that guidance is very helpful according to the point of view of our carrier Also the senior students helps us choosing the elective subjects and gives there suggestions about the post graduation and future opportunities

I got admitted to VIT Pune through my CET exam score , CET is the entrance exam for engineering admissions conducted by DTE Maharashtra which is the agency works and Government of maharashtra. In this admission process the first step is document verification from FC center after that 3 rounds for all government as well as private colleges and 4th round for only government colleges. So through this process I got admitted to VIT Pune for electronics and telecommunication engineering branch.

The college VIT Pune have very excellent teaching as well as non teaching staff means overall the faculty us excellent , major faculty of 2nd year , 3rd year and final year of every branch is having PHD and they are good. As every college have some teachers of first year are not that good means their knowledge of that perticular subject and teaching skills are little bit less, but overall the faculty is excellent.
