Remarks
On the positive side, i liked that this university focuses more on projects and practicals rather than bookish knowledge. They gave us the chance of exploring different courses too. On the negative side, they can have some better faculties.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is nice. It focuses more on projects and practicals than theory exam. The final grading is distributed among various factors such as theory exam, practicals, projects, quiz and class activities.
Placement Experience
The placements are OK cause only 2 batches have just passed(ie the college has only competed 6 years). The highest package is of 15 lakhs Rs. by Amazon. And average package remains around 5-6 lakhs. Plus we have Career Development Centre(CDC) which take care of the placements and internships.
College Events
We have many events celebrated around the sem. Some of are: Freshers party, Music club events, Theater club events, Sports fiesta, Food club events, Dance club events, Lectures from profound Speakers and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For Btech the fee structure is 1,63,000. Rs. I think this might be expensive for middle class family. But on the positive side of you see, we get very well equipped labs, excellent infrastructure, wide playground, good faculties.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university offers a scholarship to the needy ones. Many students who are not capable of paying fee can apply for scholarship upto 50% of total fee. Plus the top 3 rankers get 100% scholarship. That is i think very good initiative.
Campus Life
We have many events happening along with our academics. We have sports fiesta held every year. Plus we also get encouragement to play and compete with other colleges in sports. The labs are extremely good. All PCs are well equipped with fast processors.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, seniors are very helpful. They organize different lectures too got better understanding of different subjects. They help us also in doing projects and giving us the knowledge to explore different areas of university.
Admission
I got ACPC merit rank 1043. And thus by my merit rank i was eligible to get admission to this college. I got admission in the first round of ACPC. While others got admission in the 2nd round while some get via JEE.
Faculty
Some are good while some can be better. Overall there are good faculties having PhDs in their respective areas. Plus we have tutors who guide us in difficulties. Also we have teaching assistants who alo help in programming or solving some difficult questions.
