Remarks
Good for Studies,but lacks a discipline and Modern approach for Students. More like Gurukul and doesn't allow students to do something new. Very much concerned about attendance but doesn't care about quality of students attending the class.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum as prescribed by then tagged university was not so well,but now they have been awarded with Autonomous status.So everything works well and fine with respect to the Exam and course curriculum. Exam are conducted timely with 2 internal exams and One semester exam at the end of each semester.
Placement Experience
Placement depends on the market scenario and the business requirement of each Companies. When we passed it was quite dull but Now the stats are really good. IT industries are booming,adding more benefits to these college and its Placement. It doesn't offer Internship program neither encourage for one.
College Events
RythmNova- Musical Fest of the College. Zygon-Annual Cultural fest of the College. Noesis-Annual Technical fest of the college. CCC-Campus College Coordination events related to Students residing in College campus. Annual Alumnus meet for Alumni get Together. Fresher Introductory Party- This is perhaps the most expensive and high budget event that interests college. Finally Final year Farewell.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, If you are studying via TFW QUOTA then your tuition fee would be waived straightforward and only campus and Hostel charges need to be paid. For all other students the annual charges Cumulate up to INR 2 lakhs excluding the mess charges that is on Monthly basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Department of Higher education ,Odisha awards INR 10,000 to students of Odisha native for pursuing Professional Courses on merit basis. Apart from that all Scheduled and reserved classes get scholarship from their Individual state Government. College Offers a scholarship to one student of final year for securing high marks of approx. 50k
Campus Life
College is equipped with all Academic related labs ,but for sports the environment is not much supportive. They only have one small field for all outdoor games and 2 great Basket ball Courts. They have separate club area for indoor games and Health club members can avail gym facilities and Yoga classes.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Infrastructure are still under Construction and they keep on shifting students across all the three hostels. Presently 2 boys residence and one for girls are available with all basic amenities. Now hostels are equipped with wifi that was not available 2 years back.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not so much active,Senior students are of help. Many alumunus are not associated with the college. College doesn't encourage passing out student to be part of the alumunus network. No doubt the Alumuni are reaching new heights every day.
Admission
One need to secure a jee rank and take part in OJEE. After which depending on the rank scored on JEE mains or any other competent examination accepted by the OJEE board.The matrix preparation willbe done as per merit and reservation as scheduled in Indian Constitution. Odisha native students are given more preference and the therefore seats are reserved to half of total counts
Faculty
Faculties are well trained and equipped to train Engineering students. Well few are exceptions to this. English and Computer science faculties are very good with Human resources and filled with Natural Helping tendency. On the other hand Electrical Faculties are very strict and disciplined.
