Best College of GGSIPU

The college has lots of positives being the alumni network, placements, quality of education, faculty. The negatives include that the university must update the syllabus to the current cutting edge technologies so that the students are well prepared while joining some company.

Course curriculum is good and is in accordance with the IP university which it decides, so all the colleges have the same course structure. Exams are conducted as first sessional, second sessional and at last end sem exams.

Placements and job opportunities are abundant. In fact, MAIT has the best placement of all the colleges under IP university. College provides internship but not necessarily to every student. Some companies do visit for internship but one is free to do internship anywhere of its choice.

Techsurge and Mridang is the annual fest that happens in MAIT. It goes on for 3-4 days and comprises of various tech events as wells as non-tech events. Events include LAN gaming, Algothika, Celebrity concert, etc.

Feasible. The fee structure is what other private colleges charge. It is 1,15,000 per year for this year admissions excluding hostel fees. In fact it is feasible fee structure as one gets good education as compared to the fee paid.

Scholarship is provided by the college for genuine reasons if one is unable to pay tuition fees, then the college trust ensures no student should be left behind in education. Loan facility can be availed from banks which the campus has or from any bank of your interest.

Labs are good, we have a dedicated sports week in which there are multiple sports events in which one can take part. Race, chess etc. events are being done every year so that the student is not only indulged in studies but sports too.

The alumni network is strong and they are helpful in getting internship and placement. They help out in getting more and more companies on campus, there by increasing the quality of campus placements.

At that time, there was the IPU entrance exam, and on the basis of the rank scored in the entrance, admission was provided. My rank was 1000, so I easily got admission to the programme I wanted. But there are many streams, into which one can get admission.

Faculty is quite qualified. Many of the professors are either PhD or are doing PhD, so they have a great knowledge with respect to the subject and are able to explain better. They tend to guide in the Major project in the last semester.
