Remarks
As you see the college from regional points of view the the positively it is moderately good.But for outsider this is not so positive friendly.I specially prefer this college only to locals not from the other state.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is as of all engineering courses in India.But structure of semester exam is little bit easier than other universities.Now recently new syllabus is introduced for the new batches which now very easier than previous one.
Placement Experience
When you all taking about placement then we all are aware about job conditions in the engineering field.their is no job opportunities for the core engineering in this college.But some IT companies came and recruit majorily student.Their is no internships provided by the college.
College Events
Many sports and cultural events are organized in the college.majorily regalia and behan (fresher's party) are popular one.For sports loving guys cricket and football tournament are organized by the college representative.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible.About 3.5 lakh are total tution fee of btech course.Mostly all branches have same fee.you have to pay semester wise fee and so it doesn't burden the parents.Likely 40000 to 47000 are sem fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Their is no any scholarship offered by our college.But for PWD student or economically backward student college provide scholarship for student of bengal only.Also no loan facility is offered by the college.If you wants a loan then you have to prefer any bank for the education loan and for that college provide document.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are not done on the large scale.But some club is present but all unmannered and not responsible.Labs are not so good but for your course it's sufficient but in lab you will be restricted and not free to elaborate what you want.you have to only perform that much lab what concerned faculty provided.
Hostel Facilities
Their is no hostel facilities in our college.For accommodation you have to prefer PG or hostel ,which sistued about 1km around college.one option you may rent a flat by sharing with others which is best option I fell.
Alumni/Alumna
Their is no organized alumni network.But some college facebook group from which you can talk to alumni.seniors are sensible but some are rude also due frustration.yes they are helpful only when they are free but their impression is not so good.
Admission
I have taken admission in my college through jee mains rank.Their is counseling west bengal engineering colleges separately for the jee rankers.then their is different phases/stages in counseling where college is allocated on basis of your choices.After confirmation of college you have to report to reporting center and follow the further instructions.
Faculty
All faculty are moderately good in their field.But one problem is that all faculty are not comfortable in the english languages.They prefer local i.e bengali for description.So it's a problematic situation for new student.so all are good and regional student are more comfortable than outsider.
