The course curriculum is very standard and gives a challenging environment for students ensuring the best possible deliverables in terms of knowledge. Examinations are designed in such a way that part of the questions are on understand, apply and analyse types to test out the understanding and the knowledge of students to apply the learning to solve problems

Almost 90 percent of the students graduating every year get placed in good companies. The college keeps focussing on increasingly involved in core placement for each and every department. Placement classes are conducted to train students on their logical and reasoning skills in addition to the Technical perspective

An annual inter college symposium techuthsav and an annual feast for school students with various events have been conducted every year which is funded by the college and organized by students. This helps in developing organizing skills among students. Also the special camps of NSS, NCC, Blood donation camps, trekking and weekly events are conducted for students to enhance the is skills and responsibilities

The fee structure is aligned with the government norms for government aided college. Part of the fees is funded by the government thus making the fees very less for students facilitating the chances of education for poor people. When compared to private or self financing colleges the fee structure is one fourth of the other colleges

The college offers scholarships for students from economically weaker background. And a concession of tuition fee has been provided for first graduates of the family. Also for project works the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme funds selective ideas and funds the expenses

Dedicated time and resources for extra curricular activities is a great plus for students to gain leadership skills, team building capability and social responsibility. The college keeps encouraging student volunteers in NSS, NCC, Sports, Entrepreneurship development and ILPs

Hostel infrastructure is good with spacious rooms having individual tables and cupboards for each student. There are rooms with 2 and 4 sharing facility that can be chosen as the students wish. Facility to change rooms is easy. Washing machines are available for usage. Food and basic amenities are good

The alumni network almaconnect helps connecting the alumni by mails and social media where we get lot of opportunities to interact with the network of alumni working in different domains in different companies. Also we get to know the various job opportunities for both freshers and experienced from the alumni postings

I had applied through the merit management counselling. The admission process happens in two ways - one is the usual process of Tamilnadu Engineering counselling conducted by Anna University and another is the merit management quota seats offered by counselling conducted by the college management. For merit management students can get the application form and submit the filled form with the higher secondary merit scores copy. Students will be shortlisted based on merit and called for counselling where we can pick the required course

Almost 90 percent of the teaching staffs are doctorate scholars and the remaining staffs have been involved in their thesis works. Standard of education in terms of delivering best possible sessions with additional classes and special attention for weaker students is an added advantage
