UPSEE is the exam conducted every year to get admission to this college as undergraduate. The examination is rather easier as compared to all other engineering entrances. Graduating as engineer is my passion that is why I opted for B. Tech. After getting a satisfied score in UPSEE students appear for counselling in which they select the colleges to which they want to go in a preferential order and then according to merit these college are alloted.

The course provided by UPTU for 4 years is just like IIT's and they have a proper curriculum that is quite well followed in KIET college.

There were many companies which came in search for interns to KIET. They were for Electronics & Instrumentation students and mechanical also. Electrical branch companies were also there for internship programs. These were C&S switchgears; ATRIM technologies; SAPRO robotics and many other. Some of these internships were paid too.

Placement has got a boom this year in KIET. Till Nov about 15-20 companies have already conducted their placement drives and many students got selected in those companies who are currently in 7th sem or 4th year. There are lot more companies to recruit in the upcoming days. We are notified about the recruitment details via our email and mobile nos. KIET promises job opportunity to every engineering student whose academic record is good enough.

There are enormous number of events celebrated in college right from cultural, technical and management. Some of these are FRESCOS for 1st year fresher party; EPOQUE the annual event of KIET; ENDEAVOUR the techno-management fest; GENESIS, KIET INNOTECH the technical fest and many other.

College fee of every private college of UPTU is almost same. However students can avail scholarships every year if they perform a stand out performance in their each year. I think the college fee is easily feasible and justified and that for hostels too.

Our college provides scholarships to meritorious students to each branch and section and time to time incentives for boosting up confidence of students. There is prize money for each student who scores above 70% in every semester.

Campus life is well enjoyed by each and every student. There is a good gender ratio. U can easily find a mate who fits and suits u best... There are strict legal actions for students involved in ragging and other offences. There is zero tolerance to any offence in the college.
