My beautiful college

This college is very strict in its rules and regulations. Punctuality and discipline are the most valuable thing this college has. They will strictly punich those who disobey. The authority of this college pay attention to make everyone happy and motivated.

Exams were conducted on end of every semester which lasts a month. Internal exams were conducted twice in a semester. Course curriculum was early not satisfying but now it has been changed and finds it good.

Placement cell was active in our college. Most of the branches likely to have placement but some doesn't have. Internship were not provided by the college. Students find internship by their own and college will provide recommendation letters to the concerned company.

Azure our college cultural fest was conducted regularly in even semesters. Arena intercollegiate basketball tournament was another event celebrated every year. All other celebrations including onam Christmas was also celebrated regularly.

Fee structure is quite high. Poor ones cannot afford to pay this fees. This is the only college to collect such a huge amount as tuition fee. Other than tuition fee a particular amount is collected as university fee exam fee and so on.

College itself is offering scholarship worth 2 crore for those who don't have enough income to pay the fees. The scholarship is available only for those from poor families and those who scored good marks in 12th.

Most of the labs are well equipped with modern lab equipments and well trained staff. Sports items like cricket football basketball badminton were well encouraged in this college. Sports events were conducted regularly every year.

Yes I opted for hostel. The hostel is quite big to accommodate 3000 of boys and girls. There are different blocks for different years of students. Hostel buildings and big and new. Rooms are spacious with enough light and fan. Rooms are well cleaned every week and painted as well.

Alumni of this institution are very helpful. They often visit college as a gathering and take motivation classes for juniors. Senior students allow juniors to take part in every event and makes it more beautiful.

Admission are taken based on marks. There are 3 categories of admission. 1st one is direct admission based on Kerala entrance exam rank. Second one is through management seat and third one is NRI seat. I got admission through management seat by recommendations.

Faculty was not good in this college. Most of them doesn't have a good communication skill to interact with students. Some are good and clever where some are very poor. But now from this year our college is appointing faculty with minimum PhD to ensure good teaching.
