Remarks
The college is one of the best colleges in Kerala and prepares it's students with great exposure and intelligence. The college has the best NSS unit in India (won 3 national awards) and is well equipped is providing for society at all times.
Course Curriculum Overview
We Study Under the Kerala Technical University and has a great course carriculum. We have 2 internal exams and have to submit 2 or more written assignments out of which we have obtained a mark greater than 23/50 to write the semester exam. The semester exam is out of 100 and is conducted at the end of each semester
Placement Experience
The first batch of KTU passed this year and about 90% of students from Electronics and Communication Department was placed. Students were placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, Naaptol, Zoho coorpartion etc. College doesn't provide internship
College Events
We celebrate festivals like Onam and Christmas.We also celebrated Kerala Day (Ethnic Day) after class in the evening. The we have our Tech Fest (Takshak) which students take initiative to build great projects and we have our Cultural Fest (Sanskirti) which is a month long event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since our college is a government aided college our college seat are merit seats and also has 5-6 management seats in each department. The management seats require a donation of 5-10 lakhs depending on branch. The fee structure for all students is Rs. 8000 per year along with additional lab and caution deposits upto Rs. 2000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college alumini and other NGOs offers a lot of scholarships to the under privileged children. The college also links us with scholarships for students who want to take a step higher for there course in their college. College helps us fund student's start up projects.
Campus Life
The college has all Labs and can be approached according to the students need. The college has the following Labs : Mechanical Labs, Electronics Labs, Electrical Labs, Civil Labs, Computer Labs, Fabrication Lab, Internet of Things Lab, IEDC Lab, The college promotes all sports and has all sorts of selection processes for the selecting teams for these sport. The college provides all support for all other extra carricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel is clean and has good toilet facility and provides three square meals and evening snacks. The hostel is available to certain students in the first year for anti ragging purposes and will be allowed to almost all 2nd year students. The hostel fee varies according the hostel building allotted which can be from Rs. 3500 - Rs.7000 per month.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini association in the college is very strong and helps out the college in many ways including talks, tech fest funding, cultural fest funding, scholarships. The seniors students are very supportive and is always in touch.
Admission
I wrote the Kerala Entrance Examination after my 12th standard examination and secured a rank of 5310 which based on my entrance score and 12th mark I obtained and got into the College in general merit list
Faculty
College faculty is really great and offers students great options to students both academically and for extra carricular activities. The faculty is very approachable for any help we need throughout our semester
