The college is on a hill top. It is prone to natural calamities. The campus is congested. Only two buildings are there. College is not live after the academic hours. The canteen is poor. No development near the college.

Since the university is Kerala technological University the syllabus is a bit tough. A minimum of two internal exams should be conducted in which the student should score above 45%. Assignments are also done. The University exam is conducted for 100 marks.

No college does not provide any internship. The student should find internships on their own. Placement for the electronics department is good. Job opportunities are also fewer. College is not efficient in providing stipends to students.

There are not many events celebrated in the college. Technical events are very much poor. Cultural events are there but not up to the point. The Arts Festival of the college was not even of the standard of an art college.

Since the college is a government college the fees are less. The tuition fee is 5000 per semester. Apart from that 500 is given for the bus. Students of SC and ST need not pay the fee. Students with Grantz need not pay the fee.

MCM scholarship is a good scholarship. The student has to pay fees but later the paid fees will be reimbursed. Egrantz scholarship is another scholarship provided by the college. In this, the student has to pay only bus fees.

The college has good lab facilities. And also good faculties who look after the lab. The college has a physical education department. The college has its own football team, basketball team, cricket team, etc. Students have won trophies at various levels.

The college hostel has good facilities and infrastructure. Only 240 vacancies are there in the hostel. Food is also very tasty. The food menu is prepared by the students' mess committee. The hostel is very strict. Each room consists of 4 inmates.

The alumni association of college is not bad. The alumni association encourages the students to innovative ideas. The alumni association has different chapters in different countries. Senior students are also good company with juniors.

Entrance conducted by KEAM should be qualified. The college will be allotted according to the rank published. Since this is a government college rank below 15000 will get admission. Students who have got the required branch can take admission.

Since this is a government college the staffs are highly qualified. There are no authorities to inspect the teaching of the faculty. Facilities take leave and are not regular in teaching. They give immense pressure on the students.
