Remarks
The negative part is that the college is very strict and the management is not at all lineant. There is no political parties in Rajagiri. They highly dependent on results of students. Any political of student related issues take too long to be recognised by the management.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on KTU( APJ Abdul kalam technological University). The exam structure is also good. Acoording to improving the quality of engineering students the exam and the syllabus is little bit tuff. But it can be managed.
Placement Experience
The placement for the IT and Electronics department is too good. And according to my personal opinion Rajagiri provide the best placements for them. In mechanical department the placements are improving.
College Events
The main events in Rajagiri are arts fest namely bharatham and tech fest namely 'abhiyanthriki' or 'techshethra'. The above are main events. Other events like department related talks, international talks etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
All engineering colleges in Kerala under KTU follows the same fee structure. In government engineering College the fees is low and all private college has same fee of 75,000/-. The NRI fee may vary from college to college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship provided by college as well as the government. The college will take a fee amount of 7,000 from students who has secured a rank less than 2000 in keam enternce examination.
Campus Life
Rajagiri has well equipped labs and sports club. The labs are equipped with latest technology machines and equipments. A student who wishes to do projects get a good opportunity here. The college also has incubation centre.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities provided by Rajagiri is the best out of all the other colleges. Its new building for students. It has seperate block for 1st year students. The mess is also good and the mess commity is formed by the students
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni is also good they bring good companies for recruitment. They conduct good events in Rajagiri and are very helpful. Many senior students have placed in good and well established companies they bring job opportunity to other students.
Admission
Write the KEAM exam conducted in kerala. According to the rank obtained in the exam ( rank is based on 12 marks and keam score) you can give your college preference in the keam website. According to your rank government will be allotting you in the available college. In institution like rajagiri you can also apply as NRI which you would need to apply 4-5 months before actual admissions. So that you can confirm your seat.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is extremely helpful and responding. The will with us in all our difficulty. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. The above description is about the mechanical engineering faculties. The same can be seen other branches too.
