The college is started in 1999 and until now the college is a remark and the course of engineering ' btech in textile chemistry ' is provided by only our college in south India and the college is situated at the easy accessible place that 8n the NH47.

The course ' ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ' is for 8 semesters by 4 year and first semester is common for every branch and from second semester onwards the course orinted subjects willbe their, total of 48 peppers and 2 projects is done by the four year and will be graduated after pass all the subjects

In the ssm college of engineering a plenty of companies are providing placements for different courses and other than the placement program many companies are providing job opportunity for our college students , and in case of internships every semester every branch students should attent a internships in any company and submit the certificates and many companies are specifically providing internship courses for only our college students.

In ssm college of engineering there are plenty of verity Cultural and academical celebrations such as Onam ,Eid ,Christmas, deepavali , etc. And other programs like arts fest college party, hostel day ,college day and many other celebrations.

The ssm college of engineering provides a wide range of courses and the fee is the lowest among the main colleges and provides reductions for poor students and provide many types of scholarship for based on Mark's and other criterias.

The ssm college of engineering provides many scholarships for students and provides lone assistants for the students where the needed line and for that in the college campus the corporate bank provides a branch also , in the case of scholarship the college provides a scholarship for the students where has an 100%mark in +2 provides a scholarship for full fee and for the students who gain a mark of above 90% provides scholarship for 90%of the fee.

The Sam college of engineering provides many extracarriculam activity like symbolism and arts fest and sports day etc. And send students from the college to other colleges for inter college competitions and symbolisms.

In ssm college of engineering college there are three hostels one is the domestic boys hostel and it is for the local students and it is provided with a gim, TV room , an office, full time free wifi for students, rooms with attached bathrooms, an mess for food and five good shef for cooking. And has an international hostel for international students and it provides a gim and TV room ,attached bathrooms, and shef for cooking. And a ladies hostel provided the same as international hostel.

There are many programs and get together parties are done for the alumni and the alumni network never breaks I'm the campus and the senior students are very helpful and friendly to the new comers and there is no raging in our campus.

I contacted an admission agent and asked for the engineering course 'ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION' and after that he arranged a meeting with him and asked my needs in college and , make me choose best college from his list and , he bring me into the college with taking every expense by him and I like the infrastructure so I made an admission in the college

In ssm college of engineering all the faculty must be phd holders and they are selected with many difficult and different criteria and so the class taken by the faculty are very understanding and easy to catch
