Course Curriculum Overview
College is affiliated under Cochin university of science and technology, So they follow that syllabus. there are 2 internal exams every semester and one university exam. Mark structure includes 100 marks for university and 50 internals
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are taking place in the college at the middle of 4th year, There is a placement cell working in the college, But mostly only It companies come for placement, whether you study mechanical or electronics or anything you get a chance to attend placements conducted by IT companies, that too If you are not having any backlogs, They dont look for skills, these companies look for guys who can mug up things
College Events
In that area my college is very poor, they don't even allowed us to conduct arts day one year, principal was against all type of events, we had sports fest, and tech fest once in the 4 years. But we had some events related to onam
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was of two types those who comes in merit have 35000 and comes in management seat had 65000. these fees structure was not based on college management's decisions, this was the fees structure for every Government aided college's in kerala at that time
Fees and Financial Aid
We had mcm scholarship which was offered by Minority commission, college had nothing to do with this. each year students from minority communities will receive around 30000 rupees as a scholarship, If we are eligible
Campus Life
Labs are okey, extra curricular activities, I didn't see college or management or faculties giving importance to extra curricular activities. Same in the case of sports, they built new building by covering the football field
Admission
Write Kerala Entrance exam, wait for the allotment, If this college is alloted, go get admission, You must need a fare rank to get allotment in this college. Also there is some NRI quota available. The college is under IHRD
Faculty
Most of the faculty are good, especially in electronics and communication. But like every Government college, there are some lecturers who are not up to the mark, but overall they are satisfactory, There are non teaching staffs who behaves like they are the management of college, apart from them faculties are ok
