I thoroughly enjoyed my time in college. I loved the atmosphere and spending time with teachers & my friends. Apart from studies, various seminars and cultural programmes motivated me a lot. I miss those days in college.

I studied M.Sc in Chemistry. It was very valuable & informative course for me. It opens up many opportunities for a student. You can appear in national level examinations such as NET/GATE and also opt for various jobs in govt. & private sectors.

Placement & job opportunities are very limited in this institution. Only job opportunity is to do PhD. if you are a Botany student completed your Masters. There is no scope to get jobs directly from here.

There are many events & seminars organized in a year. Few events are organized annually, they are Saraswati Puja, birthday celebration of Swami Vivekananda, Freshers welcome, convocation & annual prize distribution ceremony.

Sports is an integral part of human growth according to Swami Vivekananda's ideology. You can take out time after your classes and participate in sports if you are interested but it's not mandatory.

No. I travelled from home. There are no hostel facilities available nearby. All you can find is Mess bari adjacent to college where anyone can stay by paying rent every month. If your home is distant from college, you should opt for Mess Bari.

After completing a course you will be asked to join Alumni association. If you are interested you can join by paying a nominal fee and stay connected to the college even after passing out. You will be invited to attend various programmes organized in college.

I appeared in entrance exam and I qualified in the merit list that was published. According to rankings in the merit list, candidates were called up to take admission via counselling. Those who miss counselling can never take admission irrespective of their rankings.

Every faculty is very good in this institution. I studied Chemistry so, I can tell well about my department. The faculty is full of experienced teachers and helpful non teaching staffs. Their inspirational words always keep you motivated.
