Very Good College

Positive:- Ragging is not allowed. Good Humanities lab, Good Computer Lab, Air conditioner good, Good Activities Happen, Good books are available in library, Good Faculty, Negative:- Library is so small, Lack of faculty, Need more placement for CE and ME department, College campus is very small , Swimming pool is not good, Grounds is very small, Musical Instruments is not available, Parking is very small.

The Course for Civil Enginnering is really good in Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. In the first year we studied most of subject is belongs to 12th level, and 2nd , 3rd and 4th year we studied course of civil engineering and some extra subject as English and some management subject. There are 2 internal exam and 1 semester is held.

The placement of our college is 100% for Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology department and 80% for Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering and very less in Mechanical and Civil Enginnering and Some placement offers for Food Technology department. Also The Non-B.tech Courses like BBA, BCA, MBA , DCA also their placement is good.

1. EDGE: It is a Techno Management Fest of our college which is organised by official science club "Geekonix" by the students of our college. 2. ANAKHRONOS: The Annual Cultural Festival of Techno India Salt Lake, Anakhronos is one of the most popular college fests across Kolkata. Anachronism is an English word derived from the Greek word ‘Anachronismos’ which is interpreted as "Moments surpassing time"! Anakhronos was started by a group of young enthusiasts in the year 2003, and now, it has become a tradition. 3. Eclectica: Eclectica is the flagship event of the Literary committee of Techno India. It consists of a day worth of fun and exciting activities. 4. Filanthropia :- the social fest of Techno India Salt Lake , set its wings in 2016 as the first philanthropic fest ever of its kind in Kolkata. This noble initiative has been the brainchild of the NSS club of Techno India which rightfully calls itself the “SAMARITANS”. 4. Samarth: A new TMSL Club also known as Civil Service Society , works on _Personality Development, motivation , Guidance, strengthening mind, rising potential & broadening knowledge of TISL students.

3.98 Lakhs for B.tech during 2016-2020 batch. It is not so high fee as compared to other colleges in other states it is feasible and also in a big city it is not expensive also an scholarship is provided for sc, st and OBC category under state and central government schemes.

There is only one TWF quota is available but scholarship and load scheme is not available in the college. But the scholarship is available by state and Central Government. And The SC , ST and OBC category can avail that scholarship.

Activities: Blood Donation, Fresher Event , clothes and food donations for poor peoples , Article writing etc. Labs : Robotics lab, computer lab Electronics lab , Electrical lab , Mechanical lab , Civil Lab, Food Technology Lab , Engineering drawing Lab etc. Sports:- Cricket, Volleyball , Badminton, Football, Chess , Table Tennis etc.

They are very helpful and and a club For alumni is created as "Geek Alums. In that event our senior and alumni came to the college and they tells us how to improve the College fest and also tell about the experience after college how fe faced in new area.

First I applied for WBJEE entrance exam then i appeared in exam and then i got a rank of 14745 and then i councelling for the college available under WBJEE. And i selected B.tech in Techno Main Salt Lake college in department of Civil Engineering.Then i came to college for documents verification and then i got addmission in Techno Main Salt Lake.

The faculty of our college is well educated and experienced, they have good skill , knowledge and they know how to teach better so that students can understand. Then faculty of our college has a great skill and they make very tricky questions so that students can increase their knowledge.
