University of East Anglia introduced a new program BSc (Hons) in Economics, Behaviour and Data Science at its School of Economics. The Bachelor of Science (Hons) will provide students with comprehensive understanding of economic analysis as well as behavioral economics and data science. This course is open to UK and International applicants who have interest in data driven analysis of economic systems and human behaviour. The University of East Anglia is now accepting applications on their online portal.
The BSc (Hons) in Economics, Behaviour and Data Science program is 3 years long and the first session will start in September 2024. To get admission in this course you would need to have 70% + in the Higher Secondary School Certificate- Standard 12 as an Indian student. Apart from this you will also have to show your English Language proficiency by submitting an IELTS score of 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) for year 1 entry.
In your first year, you’ll get to grips with key concepts in the core modules for microeconomics, exploring how individuals and firms make decisions, and macroeconomics, exploring governments’ fiscal and monetary policies and their impact. You’ll also take mathematics and statistics, which introduce you to basic modelling and statistical techniques economists use.
When you leave the School of Economics at the University of East Anglia, you'll be able to demonstrate the skills possessed by you in the form of a valuable combination of soft skills and analytical abilities that companies value. You'll be in charge of your career and you will be able to choose from a variety of career options, starting from economist, analyst, or other managerial roles, within economics or business consulting.
