- One of the best uk universities that makes a part of top 30 in the uk and top 300 in the world rankings with great professors. Each lecture is recorded which you can view if you were absent.
- UEA has free career counselling department called career central that helps you build your CV, find jobs and prepare you for interviews.
- University has a huge library that is opened 24 hours and has multiple silent study rooms for self study.
Dislikes
- The location of the university is quite isolated. It is 30 minutes on a bus ride. It might not be the thing for many students as you will miss out on city life, clubbing and partying.
- Construction on the university site is never ending. There is always something being constructed and it sometimes kills the spirit to see the machines and cranes in the university.
- UEA has its own supermarket inside but the prices on each good is too high. Its like exploitation of student budget indirectly.
Campus Life
- My uni only has norwich campus which is situation on the west of norwich.
- It has a 24 hour open library, 24 hour opened sportspark and its own nhs medical centre.
- Uni always has something going on, beginning with freshers week. It has LCR and multiple bars which is good fun. It has over 200 societies to join which gives students a break from academics.
Fees
- My total fee was 19800 but because of a scholarship called "india award", it was reduced to 14800. The fee i needed to pay to secure cas letter was 10000 pounds. I paid remaining 4800 pounds from the uk in three equal installments.
- University gives multiple scholarships to international students based on merit as well as nationality.
- My monthly expenses were around 600 pounds that included my accommodation, bills and groceries. I used to live on campus therefore there were no transportation expenses.
