  • Our university had two campuses- one in Preston and the other in Burnley.
  • Library sports were easily accessible on the campus.

  • UCLan has 5 campuses based in Preston, Burnley, Westlakes, Cyprus, and London. The university has an excellent infrastructure of many campus buildings, a library consisting of physical books and a computer lab, science labs, and teaching rooms.
  • They have a huge sports arena, a free gym for all students, and a separate student union building. The student centre and library have many places to study and have meetings. The student centre has facilities like student support, a well-being team, a careers team, a rooftop terrace garden, etc. The university conducts many events, such as welcome week, careers fair, and many fun activities by the student union.
  • I would recommend going through the university website and the student union's website to understand more about student life and events at the university.

  • The UCLan has a very calm, inclusive but, diverse campus environment that offers students numerous opportunities to learn and grow.
  • In terms of facilities, the Preston campus is well equipped with 24X7 access to the library, state-of-the-art sports facilities at Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre including a massive gym, badminton court, tennis court and much more and an exciting football ground.
  • The Student Centre building offers quiet private pods with wireless chargers and an ambience light. In terms of Clubs and Societies- the UCLan Students Union offers a wide range of diverse clubs/societies, from arts and media, fashion and sports and business management to religious and atheist groups.
  • They have a wide variety of clubs, and I was actively part of many of these societies, including business and management, film society, Indian society and a lot more. I was also the chair and treasurer at some point. and I was also holding the elected position of student union open councillor.

Two campuses were there. One in Cyprus and one in the United Kingdom 24/7 library and medical facilities were there; a Sportscard was given along with a gym and Zumba facilities. Welcome Week Fest, the Indian Cultural Society club, used to organise all the Indian festivals with great joy. The contest for CR and the president of the student union were also there. Regular competitions and networking events used to happen to upskill.

Overview

I had a great experience. Initially it was hard to pick up all alone. I landed in UK at my 20 age so it was so hard for a immature little girl. But I was blessed with few good people. And they helped me throughout the year. Eventually I stood up by myself. And I'm so proud of myself. Now I'm currently working as BDM at Infopark, Kochi. May be I would say it's all happening because I had tough and great time in UK. About University as said before it's so amazing than Kerala colleges.

About campus life it was all good. I had a lot of new experiences. And my favorite place is library. I love spending time in library so quiet and peaceful. Wifi facilities are available and I don't know much about sports I'm not very interested in that particular area. And yes the canteen was amazing.
