- Not having proper mess facilities in every hostel which makes student felt difficulty in having food
- Giving importance to seniority rather than education and skill while considering higher post in different fields
- Not getting stipends or placements for students who are studying in JIPMER
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum of this course mainly focus on our skill development which gain my attraction. Exposure to the practical situation is impressive. They try to keep a balance between theoritical and practical studies. Sometimes the course curriculum get packed with lot of activities which make students to suffocate and sometimes it takes up the leaves that we are expected to receive.Internal exams are always used to be conducted between the theory or practical classes ,there is nocorrect leaves and correct preparation of students before exam even though these marks are considered for final exam. Our curriculum is simple and understandable which requires few changes. Mixing up of both theoretical and practical section makes students more tiring . A full day and then full day clinics is always better.

- Hostel accommodations are really amazing
- Postings in first year will help us to learn more and exposed more to get more experience
- Scholarships around one lakh has given every year
Dislikes
- They asked us to submit our Tc on the day of the counselling and that if we want to submit this, they will reject your application
- The academy section was not much supportive like they won’t give any priority like it as we are the student
- Some rules regarding the Jipmer as it my rules only like we cannot protest against such things

Curriculum is 10/10. Faculty are soo good amd we learn widely on every aspects. As a Anaesthesia is a very important factor in a surgery The relevance and scope of my course is very high. Our curriculum includes anatomy, physiology, Biomedical engineering anaesthesia etc

- I like the spacious classroom with good ventilation

Dislikes
- If there is a lackage of attendance for atleast 2 percentage
- There is a system of detaining students.
- There is over stress burden faced by every student's by detaing

- The homely vibe in hostel. Hostel has separate tv room and all

- The internship stipend is very less. We are doing emergency duties and all still getting less
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course has 3 years academic, in the first one year completely academic subjects only no posting in department and all. First year include Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pharmacology. And their respective practicals. The second year include complete posting in department of cardiology, posted in ECG , TMT, Holter, Echo, and TEE. We will get nice exposure to do and practice ECG and ECHO. Third year posting is in cathlab, in which we will monitor hemodynamic of patients and defibrillator, and we will be showing fluoroscopy for angiography, Angioplasty, ASD-device closure, VSD-device closure, PDA- device closure, BMV ,BPV, BAV, Pacemaker implant, Electrophysiology studies and ablation. After studying here I'm so confident in doing CPR and Advanced cardiac care. Exams happening every 6 months for us but now it changed to yearly.

- The year back system is a stress to the students
- The crowd in the hospitals are poorly controlled
- The administration system is a bit strict

- campus is very well constructed with all facilities .
- The clinical exposure is amazing. Excellent hospital facilities with well equipped departments.
- The diversity among our classmates, help to explore people of various culture and language.
Dislikes
- Year Back system is there.If you fail in one subject in supplementary, you have to study with juniors.
- Mess food feel bad no matter which hostel you are staying in.
- If you have attendance shortage, can't able to attend university exam.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Its a 4 year course there is both theory class and clinical experience are provided.
1 month vacation each year after university examination.
75%attendance is necessary to attend university exam and for clinical 100% attendance is necessary if not compensation will be there.

- There is discrimination between mbbs and bsc students

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10 . Doctors are taking the classes . Classes are good and understandable. Timing for exam are 3hrs. Practical knowledge will be more. Curriculum is prepared advance

It's really awesome .and the curriculum is perfect to fit the profession . It's main aspect is more exposure to clinical aspect of life .we follow the exam pattern like once a year end exam and many model exams in between them

Course Curriculum Overview:
As they provide sufficient clinical experience and also provide internship .The curriculum is prepared well which consider the student ability and experiences. Exams should be conducted with giving sufficient time for the students to prepare. Time and frequency depends upon the year as the subject increases or decreases and the exams are becoming difficult year by year

Curriculum for bsc nursing is far better here ...we are getting a good clinical exposure from the ward posting ..teaching methods like OSCE practical theory was included..it will help to get into a good career life

Academically, I gained exposure to a vast variety of cases. This has worked to enhance my confidence as a medical professional.
In the Pediatrics ward, you may visit the neonatal ICU, and see how sick newborns are taken care of. You may attempt resuscitation on a baby. You may conduct deliveries in the Labour room, and perform minor sutures. You may interact with cancer patients, and others suffering from life threatening illnesses. You may work in the surgical emergency department.You’ll witness many births and deaths.

All the three insitiutes are popular and good for pursuing B.Sc Nursing program. But considering the factors such as infrastructure, faculty, exposure, internships, placements, etc. JIPMER stands on top of the other two colleges.
