Fees and Financial Aid:

Rs 2,00,000 per year is the fee , Rs 65,000 is the tuition fee per semester Registration fee is Rs 10,000 that is one time payment and security deposit is Rs 10,000 which is returned after course completion.

Life in dit : best 4 years to remember

.if I say about the fee structure it is divided into two part first is tution fees and second is hostel fees ( hostel is mandatory for first year student ).schrolorships are available for financially weaker section as well do check on college site. Placement section is very good if you are from the it or cs background but not that bad for core branches

A journey towards the foundation.

The fee structure was the same for all the branches and gradually increased after every year. You can avail a scholorship if you have scored decent marks in JEE exam or in your 12th standard. Major IT companies visits in the college were : Infosys, wipro, Nine Leaps etc and for Mechanical the companies that visited was Ashok Leyland.

DIT- The Inside Story!

The fees for a 4-year B-Tech program during my time at DIT was around 7 lacs, excluding hostel and mess fees. There is financial assistance available for students with conservative backgrounds. On an ROI basis, the college is good for day scholars who can study without staying in hostels. By availing the hostel and mess service, the total cost for 4 years comes around 12-13 lacs. There are buses for pick-up and drop services for the students. The fee for the bus is approx 21000 per annum. I was placed in Ashok Leyland with an annual package of 7 lakh.

Fees remained the same as mentioned in the brochure. Scholarships are for high percentile and good JEE marks holders. Various companies come for placement and much better for IT department. Average package for mechanical students- 4 LPA IT students - 4.6 LPA Electric and electronics - 4 lpa

Truth of the DIT

Now the fees have increased drastically from 1.5 lacs to 3 lacs per year so 12 lacs including the hostel. The fees are pretty hefty. Taking a loan will be a risky option if not from a well to do the background. There is no assistance for internship and pathetic assistance for jobs, there is some assistance financially (check with college).

Yeah, University provides different scholarships in different categories like state category, girl student category, merit scholarships for first yr students and scholarship for continuing students on basis of their academic performance. Loan facilities are readily available and university assists the students regarding at time of orientation and admission process

I got 30k scholarship as a diploma students for scoring 60 above percent in diploma.there are lots of scholarships but students never ask so they never got I got 30k deducted one my tuition fee as a scholarship

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is not very supportive.Though some faculties are but most of them never help you they won't help you in research or any of your project. It feels like we have entered a 'sarkari daftar'. Staff thinks like they are government officials.
