NIST University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students become eligible for campus placements towards the end of the third year. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, TCS, etc have visited for campus placements. This year the highest package was 19 lakhs per year and the average package was 5-6 lakhs per year. The placement percentage according to the year 2021 was 95%. After getting a degree I will work in the corporate world so I will be appearing for the on-campus placement exams.

There is more frequently students get placed and 80% of students got placed in college placement and the college is providing good and genuine placements faculties are helping for higher studies in abroad also.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. This is a good college in south odisha with good infrastructure, placement records and good teaching. Well placed alumini. Good research activities Faculties are good and higly qualified. Exams are taken on regular basis and strictly. Earlier Course is designed by biju pattnaik university of technology rourkela. But now it is an autonomous college and take it's own exam. and many more things for students benefit.

NIST is the best College in Odisha in terms of placement and campus life. It provides us very peaceful environment to persue our studies. One of the best thing about this College is its faculties.All the faculties members are very supportive and they make us learn all the topics very easily.One of the main reason to choose this College beside others is its fees which is comparatively low.The College dalo provides us good internship opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions Their are so many scholarships offered by the college and government. Like.: 1. Inspired scholarship to students scoring 90% or more. 2. Scholarship to girl student with higher marks 3. Scholarship for reservation categories and minorities 4. Scholarship by NCC and NSS 5. Scholarship for economically backward students Despite of these scholarships there is cut in fees provided to economically lower category students. The best number of placements are done in CSE and its branch. For each subject and topic, there is one specialized faculty is present for the student and due to the strict environment, the faculty can handle a 90-120 number of students. Maximum of the faculty are Ph.D. holders or pursuing their Ph.D. Junior staffs are M.tech holders. The teaching quality and doubt solving quality are excellent. Every month there is a class test. There are 2 internals of 100 marks is there in 1 semister and the difficulty level depends on the students hardworking.

From 3rd semester students are placed every year lot of IT companies visits here mostly IT and few core branch companies a good number students placed from IT branches I have decided to appear GATE and study further M-Tech

The placements are really high. There are few companies that usually come to recruit you. You will be eligible only if you have scored at least 70% in all semesters. The highest placement is around 4.5 to 6 lakhs per year.
