NIST University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement and there are companies like Infosys, Wipro, lnt, amazon, byju's, cisco and more than 200 companies are coming to colleges every year and from btech, more than 300 students out of 500 are getting a placement and the Highest package is 25 lakh per annum and average package is 6 lakh per annum.60% of students getting placement every year and my plan is for higher studies after getting a degree

Taking about placement it is the best college in eastern India and the highest package was 25 lakh per annum and many companies come to our college for placement. Name of companies like Wipro , TCS, etc and many companies visited this college and the percentage of students getting placement is 75 plus with no backs and have good in communication skills then the candidate may get placement in big companies

Students will be eligible for campus placements from 4th year. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Paytm, Tech Mahindra are a few of the renowned companies that hire students from NIST college. About 80% of students are placed every year. Students can also opt for off-campus companies like amazon. In the year 2019, a student from NIST college got placed on amazon and the package offered was 28 LKP. In 2019, the highest package offered on-campus was 18.5 LKP and off-campus was 28 LKP. I went through the website of Collegedunia while selecting my college.

The campus placement is very good here as compared to other colleges in Odisha. Many companies like byjus, cognizant, TCS, Wipro, infosis, and many others visit during placement. The average package provided is 5 lakh per annum and the highest package varies from 22 lakh to 28 lakh. The placement percentage is around 80%. My plan after getting a degree is to opt for the GATE exam and Mtech in IIT.

The average placement here is decent but the highest package always amazes us. This time it was 21 LPA which is pretty good. Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Talking about the companies, you won't get to see companies like Google and Microsoft but companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and Capgemini do visit the campus and offer pretty good packages.

This college is an autonomous college under bput(bijupatnaik university of technology).The admission process is through the jee main or ojee and it counselling by ojee portalthis college have many awards like 69th nirf ranking in 2016 and 66 as data quest 2020

From 6 th semester students become eligible for the campus. Two years back numerous companies used to visit campus but gradually the numbers reduced .but Infosys, Capgemini is regular mass recruiter for ages. If u do basic coding then also you can into these.

From 7th sem, i guess you are eligible for campus placements. Most of them are very good companies which include Infosys, TATA, Wipro,etc. 80% of students get placed mostly.

Well college's are the place where millions dreams and ideas are channelised. Thus National Institute of Science and Technology is one of those college. It'll definitely give you the fun elements which we see in the movies. Be it cultural night, events, sports and the list goes on. Coming to the serious part snd one of the most important part studies and faculty. Well the college has a huge library where we are never fall short of books and the faculty of Computer science and Electricals are great. The teachers are cooperative and will definitely help you. Cons : Not many companies visit here. Not all the branches in B. Tech fields you will get to see. Like chemical polytechnic mining and so on. Infrastructure is not up to the mark. Not maintained at all.

Students after 6th get involved in placement activities while the college start training students from the 5th sem itself. Infosys, Wipro, Adobe, infinite computer solution, DXC technology, MEIL etc. Visit campus frequently. I am placed in Wipro and started working as project engineer
