NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am in ECE course, which I found very engaging and challenging. Infact there is vdry large scope for electronics in modern world. There is a good ratio of factuly:student as compared to any other college. A batch consist of 60 students at max. Most of the faculty are PhD holder while some are PhD scholars. Major Exams held twice a semester: MId Sem and End Sem, apart from some class test as well. Difficulty level is moderate only.

From the 7th sem, students become eligible for campus placements, and companies from various sectors visit the campus to recruit students for various profiles. Some of the top recruiters who visit the campus include Microsoft, Amazon, Google, IBM, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and many others. In the last placement season, the university witnessed a 100% placement record, with more than 150 companies visiting the campus and making over 600 offers.

7 semester students are eligible for campus placement . Google, wipro, TCS, facebook more than 170+ company visited to the campus. The highest package was 2 Cr and average package is 15 lacks 85 percent student getting placed by the campus. I will try for Campus placement after getting degree

The placements are good, as NSUT has a legacy of its own. Average placements vary somewhere around 14 lakhs per annum. The placement is good in the top branches while it decreases to about 50% for the lower branches. Somewhere around 200 companies visit the campus. The highest domestic placement was from Sprinklr. My plans after getting a degree are to get a job and move on with life.

Students after 6th semester are eligible for the placements there are 172 companies visiting in college every year. There are every type of company visits in college like a mass recruiter - Mass recruiter made offers - 20-30 Normal recruiter - 5-8 big tech companies like apple Microsoft - 1-3 The highest package for the tech profile - is 1.25 Cr or USD 207750 and avg package for the tech profile is 14-18 LPA The highest package for a non-tech profile - is 26 LPA and avg package for a non-tech profile is 10-12LPA Till last year NSUT claims 100% placements. This year the placement is going on till now. My plan after the degree is to join the company and experience the work culture. after that, I will pursue my higher education.

Course curriculum in Computer science is cources related to CS such as Basic coding in C/python, DSA, DBMS, OS and other core subjects. Faculty is very helpful and always eager to help others. Faculty:student ratio is 1:60 Exams are twice a semester, mid sem and end sem.

Companies start recruiting students in the beginning of fifth semester. And companies for placement comes after the end of our internship and beginning of fourth year. The college training and placement cell helps in bringing good companies.

34th-year students are eligible for the placemats. The highest package which was given by the college was one crore twenty-five lacs last year and the average package is fifteen lacs per annum. Almost 100 per cent of students get placed.

As for my plans after completing the course, I am looking forward to applying for campus placements and securing a job in a reputed organization

I chose this course because I had an interest in coding and all from 8th class and wanted to do something in this field. I wanted to do it through an IIT but let it be NSUT is a good college. Got some fine placements.
