IRMA the majestic B-School

Fees and Financial Aid:

The first year fees is around 13lakhs odd but the second year fees is of 6 lakhs around.The first year fees include hostel fees,mess fees SAC fees and all other expenses.The whole fees for the two year programme is around 18.5 lakh including each and everything.There a lot of scholarships available like merit tution fee waiver for both the years and IDFC FIRST BANK scholarship e.t.c....

Fee structure is very high and it takes a lot of money

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fee structure of the course is around 16 lakh and caution fee is around 20000 and hostel fee is 120000 per year and library fee is around 32000 per year. Lab and computer fee is around 60000. The fee structure is almost same for everyone and they need to pay for that every year.

The curriculum in itself is very different wherein there is a perfect blend of General Management subjects as well as Rural Management subjects as an add on since it is our domain. Subjects like rural society and polity were very enlightening in all.
The 3 day Induction Fieldwork Segment wherein the students are taken to Village in the 3 days of initial week was a very challenging and new experience wherein we were send to different rural parts of Gujarat and it gave a gist of challenges ahead.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Year by year there seems to be a slight increase in the overall fee structure. The complete cost for my batch would lie somewhere around 18 lakhs for total 2 years . There are several scholarship provided based on merit , reservation, family income and so on. There is a scholarship named Tuition Fee Waiver provided to 10-12 students are relaxed the full amount of fees. Based on cat composite score there is a relaxation of around some percentage of total tuition fees. Then there are scholarships offered by hdfc ICICI and other banks as well. And all updates by vidyalaxmi will be updated through mail by the college administration. There are currently no campus employment opportunities available or provided in the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fee of 2 years for my batch is 16,39,000 including hostel, tution and other charges. Mess bill is around 4500 per month which has to be paid after each month. Apart from that there are no charges. The fee has increased by around 1.5 lakhs for the succeeding batch. There are a lot of scholarships including the tution fee waiver, merit based scholarship, and various caste based scholarships as well.

So ya 20 scholarship is provided each year based on the marks like the top scoreres get the 50 percent tution fee waiver it comes around 3.2 lakhs.12 students get 100 percent scholarship so 100 percent tutuon fee is waived off.

IRMA seems to have it all - top faculty, great infrastructure, excellent campus, and extensive exposure. It is well known for its specialization in Rural Management and becomes the best choice when it comes to RM aspirants. Before I go on, let me clarify a much common misconception about the Rural Management and Development Sector. The assumptions that the pay in the Development sector is extremely low and IRMA provides no corporate exposure are outright false.

I know a friend who gave up a scholarship at another B School for Rural Management at IRMA. He made this decision despite knowing it will be more hectic because of the 3 field components unlike 1 in the case of other B Schools.

There is an additional social sector course like Rural Society and Polity for instance. The main purpose of these courses is to broaden your tour horizon as IRMA serves the majority of the Indian population living in villages, who have a different set of problems and require a different type of thinking to solve them.

IRMA has 2 camps - pro-market and pro-development that respect each other. Such harmony leads to a better understanding of both pros and cons, and students can initiate a response to an emerging economy.

This field required an emphatic and sensitive attitude with monetary benefits not being the primary goal. The earning capacity is not exactly poor and the placement figures reveal 100% opportunities. Additionally, IRMA’s Social Entrepreneurship Cell is a haven for future entrepreneurs.

The NRI Candidates will be selected for an Online Personal Interview (OPI) based on their GMAT score (taken on or after January 2019) or your CAT 2023, XAT 2023, or CMAT 2023 scores for admission to the PGDM(RM) 2024-26 program. The marks obtained in the GMAT taken on or after January 2019) / CAT 2023/XAT 2024/CMAT 2023 scores and the marks obtained in OPI will be reduced to the equivalent marks of 60 and 40 respectively. An overall merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained out of these 100 marks. Application Fee for NRI Candidates: Rs.3,000/- (Non-refundable)
