Internship opportunities in IIIT Bhubaneswar are pretty decent, but honestly it depends a lot on how much effort we put in. Most students start seriously hunting internships from 2nd year end / 3rd year, and good opportunities usually come through a mix of college support + off-campus applying (LinkedIn, Internshala, referrals, etc.). Some students get internships in companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and a lot of people also land internships in startups as developers. The common roles are like SDE Intern / Web Dev Intern / Backend Intern / Data Analyst Intern / ML Intern / QA Intern, and many of them come with a stipend (it totally depends on the company, some are paid and some are not). The work is usually project based—like making a full-stack website, building REST APIs, fixing bugs, adding new features, working on databases, or even training a small ML model for prediction tasks. At the end of the internship, most of us come out with a proper project on GitHub, real experience of how teams work, and sometimes even a PPO chance if we perform really well. Overall, if we stay consistent with DSA + projects, internships here become much easier to grab.

There are many internship opportunities provided at the starting of 3rd year and also at the starting or 4th year by companies like flipkart, oracle(which is consistent every year), visa, de shaw and many others. The stipend varies depending on the company, De shaw offered 3 Lakh stipend whereas Flipkart offered around 2 lakhs and Oracle offered 1.5 lakh stipend.

Internships are on own basis or proffs help you in case u r a bright student through there connections, otherwise u can do rearch internship in the college itself Alumini Network also helps u to get internships

I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

You are eligible for placements from the third year. Companies like Oracle, DE Shaw, Flipkart, Media.net, Zscaler, and Dell came for placements. 270 offers were made, with a placement percentage of about 80 percent.

there are interenship oppurtunities offered on fifth and sixth semester , a student got offered for 1.4 lakh per month, you need to maintain good cgpa and work hard to get internships its harder than placements

The internship opportunities are very limited , not even the smartest students can get it . Very Very limited number of companies visit here . Not every company offer internship at our collage. Only the low grade companies come to this campus for the placement drive and handfull for internship. The name of the companies are TCS , Infosys , Tiger software , Wipro , Dell etc .

companies like oracle, zscaler, imformatica, etc visit and provide placement and internship. internship is provided with stipend of 30-50 thousands. roles like software engineering, web developer, cloud engineer, cybersecurity analyst, are common. non-IT placement for etc/eee students are very few.
