The faculty was good and responsible, easy available of references and easy understanding, well professionalized lectures
The opportunity for scholarships and placements is also top-class at andhra university.
My experience in my college was pretty good.they have good faculty and facilities in the classroom and the classroom and washroom are kept clean .they provide labs for physics and chemistry,and also they celebrate annual fests and farewells and sports

Dislikes

The faculty here are very much experienced and well known about the subject but the prblm here is that they just teach us about the subject and go but no one will let you ask if you understand it or not.
Nothing much but there will be disparities between students and it is difficult to get seat in wished group
I dislike the college b?cause they is only some placement for the course

The campus life and quality of social interaction
The faculty expertise, teaching methods and mentorship quality were good

Dislikes

The place of the college was too short where we can't celebrate any fest or annual day celebration in the college due to small place

Likes

Appreciated: Skilled faculty, great Wi-Fi, library. Improvement: More hands-on projects, diversity.
Active participation, friendly peers, supportive vibe.
Skilled faculty, interactive teaching, excellent mentorship.

Dislikes

The course curriculum lacked depth and practical relevance.

Placement Experience:

The college offers decent placements with top companies like TCS and Accenture hiring and also MNC companies like LTI MINDTREE while packages very much students secure roles for others internships and self learning boost employability.

Life at Samata Degree college

Likes

The college located in a very good location it has many options for students to live.
It has good ground for students to play.
The college timings are very flexible for students, that is from 9am to 1:30pm

Dislikes

poor quality of teaching,and very rigid approach to education
Bad infrastructure and low quality equipments
Teacher are not qualified for the leveling of teaching required for a Degree

the college is enabled by Andhra University curriculum so this is the reason why have chosen the course and the curriculum is very good in terms of real life aspects as they are very much applicable to future education and also development in terms of technology. the course curriculum is fine but the teaching methods really need to improve in terms of a student relations

Mainly in my college their is no ragging and all the faculty members are so humble and they encourage to participate some events in various activities... By doing this iam totally changed my communication level increases and may Iam speaks very good.
And mainly to enjoy the college and to study to both iam firstly choose this college because it will give a perfect b tech life to enjoy college life and mainly it gives good environment and their is all facilities like out side hostels to stay.
In the college their to buy everything like restaurants and gym facilities and sports facilities mainly nearest hospital if cause any emergency can happen it may very near to get it

Dislikes

Their is no proper ground to play and it seems very near blocks... Not a big college low infrastructure means only 20 acres of land
Some of the faculty is very strict losts of restrictions and no interactions with juniors and senior's
It will mainly their is not Ai/ML and ds labs and they are not relevant for industrial level knowledge to improves very slower

Placement Experience:

In the end of 6th semester students are eligible for placements Recently my seniors are placed at tcs, Infosys and Amazon, Wipro Accenture and many more give good opportunity to more placements... And highest package offered by Amazon and average packkage offered by Infosys... The student have to maintain minimum 8 above cgpa... After my degree my planning to crack high paying job in Amazon

Likes

The college actively conducts various sessions related to different aspects of studies and life, which help students develop and pursue their interests.
Students are expected to maintain regularity and discipline and to complete their own work, which is beneficial for higher studies, as no spoon-feeding is provided.
Facilities such as the library, gym, are available to students. The city environment is so peaceful.

Dislikes

The college enforces very strict rules which are literally mindless.
Classes are not conducted for every subject; instead, students are required to present seminars.
However, the placement opportunities are not very promising.

Placement Experience:

I am not sure of the placement but from what I know , the placements typically starts in the final semester and some pharmaceutical industries and contract research organisations visit the campus as a part of campus placements. However, the placements are limited and the packages will be low- moderate. Students can attend various placement drives conducted in nearby colleges too.

The best part of the college as far as i concerned is a student has liberty to grow in all aspects.
The timings of the college is very comfortable.
Every class is installed with digital boards so that faculty can teach more efficiently.

Dislikes

University is still following the old syllabus which is not fit for today's techno world

Placement Experience:

In terms of numbers, i dont have the exact figures, but i can tell you that our university has a strong track record of placing students in top companies. The placement cell also provides gukdancd on resume building, mock interviews, and career councelling to nhelp students prepare for the placement season.

it was the buliding structure of my collage very fantastic it was very nice and very unique in the whole country and i am very happy to join the collage beacause it was very large collage and it around 422 acres
it was very good faculties in Andhra university and very close to everystudent
AU placement services are very good and very effectiveness

Dislikes

collage infrastructure was lightly disappering some places
collage management was not support to students
collage fests was very less in AU so please consider it

Placement Experience:

the campus placements are starting from the 3-2 so eligible for placements and every year 45 campus recuritements are there in collage so iam very exicted so the highest package last year 83 lakhs for my supersenior girl

Likes

The faculty are very experienced and good who help each and every student to get through the subjects easily.
The college environment and the curriculum is so good the it helps the students to get real time experience.
The college hostel is well maintained and the hostel food is so good and healthy.

Dislikes

The college management is sometimes harsh to students and faculty.
The documentation of the events conducted is not maintained properly which created impact in the NAAC grade.
The fee payment status is not well maintained by the management. So if at all anyone loses receipts of their payment they should pay again.

Placement Experience:

The college placement season starts after 5 th semester and maximum of the companies arrive in 7 th semester. The college provides good placements. The college bring companies like Amazon, Darwinbox, Infosys, TCS, factset, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Riktam, Ziegler Aerospace etc. The Highest package this year is 28 lpa by Walmart for SDE-2 role. Average package for the year is 6lpa. The college provides average placement of around 70%. I want to join an organisation as a software engineer after my degree.

Mainly i like the infrastructure of the college
The college was very much quite and good
And the faculty was too friendly and nice

Dislikes

The college was nice all through but some neatness required

I think the college was less interactive in sport’s

The way of teaching, and clarifying doubts
The way of teaching very understandable,
The way of giving knowledge regarding the topic,

Dislikes

There were ac's but doesn't work, the fans doesn't work properly
More absenties, but they can manage there is no problem with it
Old labs with old equipment, we don't know that the equipment works or not

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
