IIT Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Many companies come here( like Google, Amazon, semiconductor companies like Intel, AMD, snapdragon, etc. )for hiring, and generally hiring happens around December. Every year, around 95 percent of people get on-campus placements and few get off-campus placements also.

From semester 6 or 7 the students at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad are eligible for campus placements. There are numerous companies visiting the campus every year. Companies like NVIDIA, GOOGLE, and MICROSOFT have visited the campus. The average package of electrical is about 30 LPA.

Most of the students opt for core electrical jobs eventually and very few move out of this zone. Packages are upwards of 30 lpa on average and the highest package was around 60lpa overseas(Japan). A few of the students also go for MS, mtech or upsc after completing btech

Students are allowed to do internships from third year onwards. Students are eligible for placements from fourth year onwards. Many tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Flipkart hire students from the campus.

From the 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Various MNCs come for placements like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, JP Morgan, etc. The highest domestic package is around 65lpa whereas international is 2cr per annum whereas the average package is 27lpa. Around 80 percent of student gets placed whereas other students continue further studies. My plan after my degree is to gain experience in the IT industry after my MBA.

Students can sit for internships from the sixth semester and for placements from the eighth semester. Afaik last yr the highest package was around 65LPA and avg package is, around 30. About 60-70% students get placed. My plans are to get a good job And get settled.

placements are good, as I talked about earlier, students can opt for placements in 4th year, and all types of companies, majorly IT which offer a package of more or equal to 7 lap are allowed to hire from the college.

Great placement was there, but the packages were a bit less due to the recession. placement percent is around 98-99%. Many students go for higher studies, I am also thinking of doing MBA or preparing for UPSC. The highest packege this year was around 70-72 lpa.

Campus placements usually start in the fourth year, however, there are internships that you can take during the third year. Some of the companies visited were Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Microsoft, Adobe and many more. In the year 2023, the number of recruiters was 335 and the number of students placed was 570 out of 621 offers made. There are also many international offers made, with a count of 55 offers made. Keep in mind that IIT Hyderabad has strong international relations with Japan, so many offers are from there as well. Also one can opt for semester-long internships, which are 6 months long. The highest package is 63.78 lakhs per annum in Indian Rupees. The average package is 20.08 lakhs per annum in Indian Rupees. I particularly like Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security. I plan on joining one of these two branches after my degree.

I am from the biotechnology and bioinformatics department and I am interested in bioinformatics so I chose this course and here all our profs are well educated and behavior is also good and about our term exam is also very flexible and it's not difficult too much we can easily pass if we attend regularly classes.
