IIT Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college provides good placements opportunity and the college has a record for 100% placement. The college provides good placement offers for even B.Tech. The college placement committee plays a major role as we have to register our names with the college placement committee before taking part in the placement process. The college placement committee makes sure that everyone is placed with good offers. The highest package was around 50 LPA and the average package was around 18.50 LPA. Few of my batch mates received the pre-placement offers during the internship program.

The college placement record is according to the top IITs of India. The college provides a 100% placement record. The college placement committee helps us to identify the right company for us and they guide us throughout the placement drive. The highest package for our batch went up to 55 LPA and the average package was around 17 LPA. The college committee also invites star-ups for placement so that students can also be placed in start-ups and learn something. Companies like Accenture Japan, Google, Microsoft, MTX, Rakuten, TSMC, Tech Mahindra, Google, etc visited the campus during the campus drive.

The college placement is tremendous, The college also invites many start-ups for the placement program. The college placement committee is very hard-working and professional. Around 45+ companies visited the campus during the placement drive. companies like MTX, Microsoft, Rakuten, Accenture Japan, TSMC, Amazon, DG Takano, etc visited the campus during the college placement drive. The highest package during our batch was around 55 LPA and the average package was around 20 LPA.

From the 7th sem onwards students are eligible. Companies: MTX,yokogawa,rakuten,microsoft,TSMC,Alphonso, amazon and so on. Total 96 companies. 31 international offers. Higest: 60 lakh, average: 21 lakh 312 students placed from 537 students.

To be frank enough the placement of IIT is very excellent. Not only did the industrial leader visit the campus but IIT Hyderabad also promotes start-ups to take part in the recruitment drive. That gives us an opportunity to be part of a startups group. Companies like Accenture Japan, Google, Microsoft, MTX, Rakuten, TSMC, Tech Mahindra visit the campus. The highest placement package during our batch was 55 LPA from Google and the average package was around 17.50 LPA

The percentage of students getting placements changes every year according to the student's requirements. Many students opt to pursue higher education. The average packages offered are around 11-12 lacs.

It was definitely under the IIT brand which made me feel inclined towards it. I went through all the faculty list and everybody seem to be doing interesting research. All faculties are young, smart, enthusiastic, considerate and very approachable. The curriculum design is superb as it does not put a lot of pressure on the student. I answered GATE exam in February 2019, got my results in around April and applied to the college around the same time. The application process at the time did not require an interview although it is required right now for non GATE intake.

IIT HYDERABAD has a very good infrastructure and has NIRF rank of 8 , overall world best colleges rank around 600-650 and having a very good research facilities when compared to other iits. IIT hyderabad deals lot of industrial projects which helps students in exploring the industrial knowledge.

Campus was well good in infrastructure and its NIRF 8th, first among second generation IITs, also its the IIT located in my home city.Also I wasn't getting goid branches in Elite 7 IITs and I didn't like newer IITs, still in construction, so I preferred IIT Hyderabad.Admission is through JOSAA counseling. Usually 6 to 7 rounds of counseling happens. It happens usually in june- july, but due to covid as exams postponed, counseling also postponed to october - November.

Their overall ranking was the important criteria for me choosing the college and the type of studies they give to students. Placement is an important Criteria to choose college vs the field you apply in. So in my field they are having good placement so I choosed this college.
