The faculty of jawaharlal nehru technological university kakinada is very impressive like their teaching is extremely good.
Giving the number of opportunities to students for placements this time
The campus life is very beautiful with campus placements and the friends to lead the life in joy and happy manner.

Dislikes

My campus life is not good or not accident because of this college and disappointing some issues in this college like my college architecture is very bad.
Its quite frustating how much they charge on prints on campus .as a student ,we already have so many expenses to juggle ,and having to pay exorbitant prices for something as basic as printing feels unfair .
The fee and the transportation vechiles are not much comfortable to the students to travel

An honest review of MVGR college by an experienced student .

Likes

Infrastructure is good and the environment is awesome.
Every class is provided with projectors and equipped with cc cameras.
every student have assigned a councillor , who look after you for any problem within and off campus.

Dislikes

college timing is bad and very lengthy .literally 7 to 8 hours a day.
course orientation is bad not every faculty follows the structure.
When it comes to paying fee they make a lot of pressure .some times even stop exams for not paying fee

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for campus placements in 4 th year . Placements are good but not best.More startups come they offer low packages.Placements in our branch is nearly 80% . Highest package is nearly 21 LPA but other than that are below 18 LPA and even less.Companys like Cisco and Amazon offer jobs for my college.

in our college i like the labs. labs are every cleaned and network support is high
our class rooms also very cleaned. we have projector in our class
infrastructure of the college is very good

Dislikes

i dont like the washrooms in the hostel. they are uncleaned
The hostel rooms are aslo very small
Every faculty were very strict. not allow for games

the management student need to pay for our course is 150000 rupees. registration fees for every semester is 100 rupees. we need to take the form after paying 100 rupees.every year need to pay 12000 rupees for crt course

The college life

Likes

There is no ragging in college which graned my interest.
Due to my college is surrounded by many plants and trees it gives a peace nature around us.
The facilities and the placement guidance is good .

Dislikes

The food in the canteen can be made better for the students.
The hostel rooms for boys are not much to my interest.
Time should be provided for the students to pay the fee instead of stopping them from writing exam.

Placement Experience:

There are many placements takes place and 85-96% students gets placed and rest of the students choose their own interest.The companies like Tech Mahindra, KYB motors , Nipun , Hitachi, Tcs , TATA motors and etc

My college diaries

Likes

College is environment friendly and there are no much restrictions.
Library is very big and includes 1000s of books.
College infrastructure is very good and campus is kept very clean.

Dislikes

Sports infrastructure is not there and no much importance is given to sports
Few semester subjects are irrelevant to what we study.
If fee is not payed on time they keep a lot of pressure on students.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Average package is 500000. Highest package is 2400000. But placements are getting lesser year by year, it is not able to bring good companies. Nearly 70% of students gets placed and others go for higher studies.

MVGR college of engineering - My Experience

Likes

Campus is very good and that is not very strict for the students to roam in the campus
My engagement in the campus is very good and interaction with friends is also more
the faculty in the college has very vast experience in the subject and have good knowledge in the subject

Dislikes

The events that are not very much done in the college which are very rare to happen events
No most workshops have not been done in the college
College amenities in rainy season were not good as that much.

From the 6th semester only students werw getting internship opportunities and also placement sessions are also staretd in this sem. There are many comapneis visited like catalog,hexaware,tcs etc.. The highest package was 24 lakhs in catalog and the lowest was 3.5 lakhs. Almost 90% of the studenst were placed in the companies. My plan after degree was to do a job

Why Choose MVGR ? My Real Experince

Likes

college infrastructure - it is so good mainly the library is the highlight of our college we good a good playgrounds for cricket volleyball basketball and kabbadi khokho etc
Encouragement - to participate in hackathons , text events and even extra activities like drawing and art competions and even india level dance participations singing club too.
Faculty support - Interactive faculty who support us for manty things and help us when ever we need support both academic wise and non academic way.

Dislikes

i did not like some of the rules in my college like need permissions for every thing.
and mainly more fests will not be conducted in the college limited.
and needs some updated syllabus and new technologies.

Placement Experience:

ELIGIBILTY - after completion of 3rd year the students are elegible for placements. COMPANIES - hexaware - 30, cognizant - 20 , catalog - 5 , pennant - 10, gobal ai tech - 5, vts enterprise - 10, overall outoff around 200 students more than 100+ students are placed of and on campus. Highest package - 2400000- catalog - 2 students Average pacakage - 400000 according to college placement percentage is 90%. my plans - to get a placed in a company with highpackage or metch

I like my college library as it contains a lot of books from different groups
I like my labs as it was fully equipped upto the requirment
My college was fully green environment it was very cool

Dislikes

My college benches were dissatisfied those are were discomfortable to sit
My college is more far from city so it is unable to travel in particular times
My college is unable to provide basic things

Likes

Faculty members are highly qualified, many with industry experience.
course curriculum is relevant to industry needs.
Social life is balanced, friendly environment, no ragging

Dislikes

sometimes rules becomes stricter making it inconvenient
heavy academic load in some semesters making it hard to digest
there is no much events or fests, only annual day

Placemets are preety decents the average package is 550000 and the highest package is 2500000 for the last academic year. from 7 sem students will be eligible for campus placemets. Companies like tcs, infosys, capgemini, and other top it companies comes here for placements.

Likes

Timings of college and schedule is stress free for students
College have clubs and conduct various events which will help students
College conduct events on sports and other indoor games. College have a small gym which is sufficient for beginners

Dislikes

In some labs there is no sufficient equipment or have faulty equipment
College have very limited fests. Freshers and annual day events are only fests happened
Infrastructure and maintenance are very poor and college gym equipment is very old and only sufficient for beginners

Placement Experience:

My course is new in this college placements related robotics field are very less but there are many companies offer placements in mechanical field and in sofware field. Most of the students with good chpa and required skills will get placements
